Hazel wasn't used to the land away from her twoleg home, but she felt she was getting used to the place. She was getting less fatter, and she felt as if she could practice her hunting skills once again, even if the first time was a mess. You don’t get everything right the first time you try, do you?

Everything was different, but she had to accept it as her new home. Yet, she didn’t know cats lived here. She preferred to stay away from the water but saw fish swimming in the water—lots and lots of fish. She could eat one! She smiled, unsheathed her claws, and jabbed them into the water, a sense of pride tingling throughout her fur. She wasn’t going to be a kittypet; she was different. She was a changed cat. The fish was limp and had stopped swimming her eyes showed even more pride as she picked it up, she had hunted!

"Nice catch."

The words flew out of Kitespring's mouth without a thought. She was finally feeling like herself after the trip home, so she was out hunting for a couple fish in Sunningrocks to bring back to the clan. She didn't expect a rogue to be hunting for prey, swiping down like a newly-named apprentice yet snagging a fish with ease.

Normal clan policy would be to drive a rogue away from Clan territory, but Kitespring wasn't so keen on doing so this time. First, RiverClan was preparing for a war with SkyClan at the moment, so the last thing they needed was another injured cat. Second, they were on opposite sides of the river; the rogue could easily get the upper hand if she tried crossing. Lastly, the river was full of fish at the moment, so Kitespring felt there was more than enough to share.

Turning down to the river, the russet she-cat waited for fish to appear. Swiping down at one, the russet she-cat whiffed badly, making a loud splash everywhere. "Oops," she chuckled sheepishly, smiling at the young cat. I need to shake off the moss and catch something next time.

Kitespring attempted and failed to catch a fish, costing 5 stamina.

Sprucebark sped walked as fast as he could. It was difficult to think that he was actually running late for something but it was true.

He was supposed to meet with Kitespring and go fishing together. The warrior who in the past had been so focused on things had more recently calmed down a bit more and learned to take life in a different approach. Scorchlight had played a big part in him being able to get through the crazy recent past moons and she had also reminded him to not worry too much about things. Something he was always grateful for.

Catching up to his auntie Kitespring his eyes widened seeing her talking to a loner??

He glanced at his aunt but did not say a word even though this all seemed very odd to him. Loners were supposed to be chased out based on the most formal of rules. But it seemed his older clanmate was allowing the loner to stay. He would not object to this, he trusted auntie kite and he had learned that while rules were important they could not always be the thing relied on as Perchstar had taught him.

This loner did not seem to be hurting anyone and as long as Auntie Kite was okay with it he would be too.

"you will get the next one" he meowed quietly to his clanmate settling down next to her.

He gave a friendly and formal wave to the loner.
