First they'd wandered around. Then they'd stayed in the "new territory" for a while. And now they were moving again--for reasons and goals that Hedgekit had never quite been able to wrap her head around. All she knew was that it was cold. The snow was fun sometimes, and she liked to chase her siblings around in it, but she was starting to get tired of constantly shivering no matter how deeply she buried herself in Mamma Pineblossom's fur. Wind blew her around so easily with her smaller frame that it was nearly impossible for her to walk on her own, so she spent most of every day being carried by Mamma or badger-riding on big brother Silver. Now, though, was a period of rest. The Clans collectively had dropped for some much-needed respite, hunting in the thick stormy drifts of white, and sleep. But Hedgekit was wide awake. Finally she could move around on her own! Though she heard distant calls to not wander too far, it wasn't as if her little paws could've gone a great distance anyway. All she could do was stumble eagerly around the place that ShadowClan had chosen to hunker down for rest. That frame, in the distance... was that Hawkpaw? Maybe she could play with him! Happily she pushed through the snow and bapped him lightly from behind. "Tag, you're it!" But--wait, no, she'd seen incorrectly in the white landscape. That wasn't Hawkpaw. It was... someone else. Someone she'd seen talking to Pineblossom before. Hedgekit blinked with wide green eyes. "Oh... sorry, wrong cat." She offered a bright smile. "But if you want, we can still play tag!"
