SANDPAW


Time is like a handful of sand - the tighter you grasp it, the faster it runs through your fingers.

Sandpaw looked out of camp longingly, wanting to go out and have fun. It has been days since she went out to get more stones but she wanted to be sneaky. If anyone found out she was collecting stones instead of training she would get in trouble. Just as sandpaw was about to run out she heard something behind her and jumped around to see brightpaw.

"Hello... your bluepaw friend aren't you?" He hobbled towards her, staring at the cobweb that protected his foreleg. Irked, he muttered, "are you bored of the camp too?" His yellow-golden pelt shone in the sunlight as he stared into Sandpaw's eyes, then to the gorse tunnel. "You thinking what I'm thinking?" he meowed, flicking his ears towards the gorse tunnel to tell her what he meant. "Should we leave this prison?" he asked, giving Sandpaw a warm smile, completely forgetting about his leg casted in cobwebs. It had started to stop bleeding, at least.

Sandpaw looked at brightpaw only understanding half of what he said. From the few snippets sandpaw could assume that he wanted to leave camp with her. "Sure! Lets go!" she mewed in feral forgetting this cat didnt know the language. she padded out of camp, making sure to keep close to the injured apprentice.
