| Frostpaw ShadowClan Apprentice About
Frostkit- Frostpaw NAME
Female GENDER
ShadowClan CLAN
Apprentice RANK
8.20.2023 CREATION DATE
NPC ORIGINS
A loner at heart, Frostpaw prefers to remain aloof from everyday life, finding peace in silence far away from the bustling camp. That’s not to say she isn’t kind; she is, in her own way, and though her true friendship is hard to earn, it is equally hard to lose. While she might not be outgoing or boisterous, Frostpaw always has her friends’ backs, small circle as that may be. PersonalityOften viewed as aloof or cold, Frostpaw treasures time spent by herself, in the soothing quiet far away from camp. That’s not to say she isn’t friendly; she is, in her own way, and also quietly loyal to whatever small group of friends she might cultivate. It’s only to those closest to her that she might show a small glimmering of a sarcastic, dry wit that pokes fun at the glaring hypocrisies of other cats. Curiosity might kill the cat, but satisfaction most certainly would bring Frostpaw back. At the slightest hint of anything new, she’ll go chasing after it, intent on satisfying her ever-burning curiosity. Despite her often-cold manner, Frostpaw is surprisingly selfless, finding it easier to suffer herself than to watch the sufferings of others. Even though she can be empathetic at times, it’s easy for her to assume that everything around her is a test; it’s a struggle for her to accept the words of others without treating them as hidden objectives or tasks to be completed. Emotion, while something Frostpaw understands well enough, is difficult for her to sense in other cats. She much prefers for anger or irritation to be stated outright instead of something more subtle such as the cold shoulder. An unhealthy habit Frostpaw developed due to the famine she was raised in is emptymindedness. When there is nothing new to be found, she finds herself zoning out for hours on end, thus swinging her mind from being bursting full of logic and questions to total blankness. In addition, Frostpaw finds it difficult to eat frequently or enough. It just seems horribly selfish, even when the fresh-kill pile is full. She can’t explain it. AppearanceFrostpaw is a white-and-black speckled cat, with short fur that grows longer in leaf-bare. Her form is rather small and surprisingly skinny, as it’s seemingly impossible for her to put on weight due to malnourishment in her youth. Despite her rather diminutive stature, her eyes blaze with an internal flame, gleaming orange in the darkness. Her steps are purposeful, her posture perfect, but overall Frostpaw melts easily into the background, avoiding the attention that she hates. She sports a talon-scar across the lower section of her back, sustained when she fought an owl as an apprentice - art:
RelationshipsSwiftheart A kind molly, and Frostpaw’s mentor. She appreciates Swiftheart’s generosity and thoughtfulness, but sometimes she can be a little… loud. Nevertheless, if anything went wrong, Swiftheart would be the first cat she’d go to. If she absolutely had to.
Heatherberry ShadowClan’s medicine cat that probably saved Frostkit from starving. Frostpaw respects and admires her… if she were a bit bolder, the fresh-kill pile a bit fuller, she might ask about some of the herbs.
Skunkpaw A fellow apprentice, stuck in the medicine den after an incident that left him blind. Frostpaw has talked to him once, but views him as a bit of a rulebreaker.
Pineblossom A senior warrior who was a queen while Frostpaw was growing up. They haven’t really interacted, but Frostpaw respects both her status and calm demeanor.
Blackkit A ShadowClan tom Frostpaw once spoke to. She thinks she scared him, and as a result has started to avoid kits.

History
Frostkit was born into a harsh environment. ShadowClan’s prey was running low and patience lower, as warriors came back with less and less prey for the fresh-kill pile. With the young kit’s mother deceased in childbirth and father unknown, there was no-one to ensure that she got the nutrients she needed, and it was all to easy for Frostkit to curl up in her nest all day to conserve energy, unnoticed by the queens. It was only when Heatherberry, ShadowClan medicine cat, intervened, that Frostkit began to recover, although her growth would always be stunted by the circumstances of her kithood.
When she turned six moons of age, Frostkit was apprenticed to Swiftheart, a senior warrior, who earned Frostpaw’s friendship and devotion by simply helping her set up her nest.

| Goldengale The Lion of WindClan About
Goldenkit- Goldenpaw- Goldengale NAME
Female GENDER
WindClan CLAN
Tier Two Warrior RANK
10.23.2023 CREATION DATE
NPC ORIGINS
A rambunctious big ol’ fireball, Goldengale is the epitome of “it’s easier to ask forgiveness than to beg permission.” Reckless and foolhardy, she genuinely believes she’s invincible, and has the courage and skills to occasionally back that statement up. A fool with a heart of gold, Goldengale is fiercely loyal and protective, but also easy-going and friendly. There’s something about her headstrong nature that’s charming, almost endearing. Since her brother’s fallen ill, her protective streak has only grown stronger. PersonalityGoldengale’s personality could perhaps be summed up in three words: reckless, outgoing, loyal. She’s a fool with no common sense who would absolutely leap the Gorge on a dare, but who would also dive in the River to rescue a Clanmate with no hesitation. Loyal to her Clan above all, she firmly believes in WindClan’s innate superiority to the other Clans. Filled with constant battle-lust, Goldengale relishes in the feeling of flesh under her claws. In a fight, there’s no retreat on her part, just a rage-filled red vision that lashes out until she physically cannot anymore. To her, there’s nothing like running, there’s nothing like fighting, and, above all, there’s nothing like WindClan. AppearanceA tall, bulky cat with fluffy fur and brown eyes, Goldengale’s cream fur turns a brilliant gold in the sunlight. Unlike most WindClanners, she’s almost as bulky as Bloodstrike or Beechfang, with definite Maine Coon blood in her veins. With a mane almost like that of a lion, Goldengale cuts an imposing sight, fully the height of any other cat in the forest. After her recklessness led to her pitting herself against a wolf, Goldengale’s pelt now tells an eloquent story of the encounter. Her left front leg is shorn at the elbow, while the left side of her face is scarred over, her eye gone and teeth showing through the tears in her muzzle. Her ear is also painfully torn, but apart from that, Goldengale always sports a few nicks across her body. RelationshipsTallshadow An apprentice just a bit older than her who played with her when she was a kit. Goldengale looks up to him and views him as her older brother.
Pantherpaw Her fellow apprentice and one of Tallshadow’s friends. Even though he’s older than her, Goldengale finds it fun to mess around with the monotone tom.
Nectarflower Goldengale’s former mentor. She’s nice enough, she guesses, but a bit of a stick-in-the-mud and a worrier, and they never really bonded.

History
Goldenkit was born into WindClan during a time of famine. Despite this, the queens in the nursery always made sure the large kit had enough to eat, although they disapproved of her constant roughhousing. While she was still young, Goldenkit met an apprentice by the name of Tallpaw, who instantly earned her constant affection by “sparring” with her.

| Rose child of the northern wind )center;background-size:cover;margin:20px 0;line-height:1.5;"> About Rose NAME
Female GENDER
None CLAN
Tier One Loner RANK
10.27.2023 CREATION DATE
NPC ORIGINS
Skittish and wary, Rose heralds from the far north. Built to withstand the biting chill of the true winter, her fur is thick and build large. Despite her intimidating size, Rose was reared in a land where she was prey as often as predator, and acts according, treating everything and everyone as a threat until proved otherwise. PersonalityRose is alone, abandoned by the gods of her homeland, and she knows it. Deep down, all she wants is security and stability, what was stolen from her months ago and what she still desperately longs for. She’s cautious, careful, wary, empathetic until it puts her at serious risk. Rose, in essence, is a contradiction, her actions always motivated by self-preservation and yet willing to work herself to the bone, if only it’d give her a family again. You’ll never meet a more cautious cat, and yet, for someone she trusted, she would throw herself between them and the wolves. Is it really too much to ask for someone to trust? AppearanceRose is descended from Norwegian Forest Cats, and has the bulk and fur to prove it. Her pelt is silvery, patched with white and dark, thick enough to keep out the snow. She keeps her head down, blue eyes fixed on the ground, and lets her long feathery tail drag along the earth. Her walk is careful, cautious, wary, undermining her intimidating silhouette. RelationshipsBrackenwing A nice cat who let Rose stay at the barn. She trusts her, a little, mostly because she could probably outrun the older cat if need be.
Whisperear Another nice cat that let her stay at the barn, and another non-threat. His short coat and large ears look very odd to Rose.
Ajex A rogue she met in Twolegplace who… threatened her into a spar? Rose isn’t sure, but distrusts and dislikes him as a chaotic unpredictable variable.
Bird A rogue kit in Twolegplace. Rose offered him prey and he attacked her. She’s still very confused and slightly alarmed.
Silverhawk A ShadowClanner who almost killed her on accident. Ironically, Rose trusts him.

History
With life comes death.
Rose heralds from the land of the grinding ice, a distant, bleak, frozen place full of danger. Wolves, bears, even great whales that could shatter the ice like flower petals were common dangers, and yet the worst of all was the sheer cold. It was here that Rose was born, in midwinter, one of a litter of three given life at the cost of their mother’s. Theirs was a small colony, only about twenty cats, and yet they made do. She learned to hunt, to track, and most importantly, to win without fighting. Her father, Tempest, taught her the importance of the thin line between predator and prey, and how easily it could be crossed. Never engage without a reason, he would say, and a mighty good one at that.
Life was good. And then came the long hollow days, when prey was scarcer than eagle teeth. Rose learned to eat worms then, grubs, the maggots that lived in rotten bark. They were weak when another colony fell upon them, one much greater, and driven to the extremes of desperation by hunger.
Rose was fortunate to escape with her life.
From hence, she traveled ever-southwards, learning how to use humans to her advantage as her father had taught her to scavenge from the very wolves. Her gods have left her, she is sure, for turning her back and fleeing; ever the path of a coward’s, hers.
Maybe the forest can be a fresh start?
The first cats Rose happened upon went by the names of Brackenwing and Whisperear, their territory an abandoned barn. They showed her kindness to an almost unprecedented extent, allowing Rose to use the barn as a sort of base of operations, if you will. She also met two rogues, Ajex and Bird, both of which only strengthened her distrust toward other cats.
While traversing the territories at night, Rose strayed onto ShadowClan territory, meeting Silverhawk.
