Sprucebark had a patrol today, and he was supposed to go with Cinderpaw an apprentice he had not yet gotten to know yet.
He waited where they were to meet getting there exactly on time. Sprucebark was a very orderly and timely cat, he always had his days planned out to a schedule and was very rule and code oriented warrior.
Seeing the apprentice he gave her a friendly wave. "Ah, good morning cinderpaw. he greeted formally.

Cinderpaw, RiverClan
Cinderpaw, as usual, was late by just a smidge. She had known exactly when this patrol would be, but instead of getting there at a proper time, she had spent so long trying to keep when it was in the back of her mind that she forgot.
Now, she found herself scurrying across camp and grinding to a halt in front of Sprucebark, who merely greeted her in a calm manner. With a lobsided smile, she waved her tail right back and said; "Hello."
She cleared her throat and took a breath, and then continued; "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be late."

Sprucebark hated being delayed, his schedule and timely order was a big part of who he was. He frowned a bit and gave a little nod.
He just liked things to be orderly and on time and in place. He was very particular about such things.
However, he had also learned to be understanding of others in his time as a warrior. Poppyshine (his mum) had taught him patience and understanding of others well, and with time he had gotten much better at it.
He gave a shrug, "well no worries, just try and be on time next patrol. Lets set out now so we can make up for lost time now" he purred softly.
He walked along next to the apprentice and though of interesting things to ask of them:
"how is your training going? Learning all of the warrior code and how to follow it? of course, the orderly tom would ask about the warrior code as he also held it in very high regard and followed it very closely.
"how are you liking your more independence now from the nursery?
