yay! New Friends [for sagepaw]

Swiftheart was always the happy and energetic and extraverted cat of shadowclan, she was also always happy to spend time with the kits of the camp. She noticed that she hadnt met alot of the ktis that were now apprentices though and so she wanted to do that now.

She walked over to Sagepaw and gave a friendly wave and nod in greeting. "Hello! I;m swiftheart" she purred. She wasnt sure how well the apprentice knew names or not but they hadnt really spent alot of time together yet.


"Hmm you wanna come hunting?" she purred lowering her front paws down playfully looking at the apprentice. Even now as a warrior she had always kept her kit level of energy and excitment.

Sagepaw sat outside the bramble thicket of the apprentice's den, her pure black fur still kitten soft and fluffy and ruffled from sleep, as she gazed up at the early dusk sky. She had her first night of her apprenticeship ahead of her.

Her bright yellow eyes shifted, from the clouds glowing with the last of the sun, to the warrior who approached her. Remembering her manners, she returned the nod of greeting with an alert swish of her own tail. "Hello, Swiftheart." It was a familiar name and a familiar face but the two hadn't connected until now.

Sagepaw was surprised at the invitation to go hunting. The white she-cat seemed to say everything with a purr. Her blue eyes twinkled like stars. "My mentor, Dawnbright, is taking me out at dawn." Swiftheart had struck a playful pose with all the energy and excitement of Sagepaw's sisters.

Was Sagepaw the loudest or most excited? No. But did she ever say no to an invitation to play? Also, no. The dawn was a whole night away, "So, sure."

Swiftheart giggled playfully still showing so much energy and positive spirit as she gave a nod and ran back and forth

"okie! yay! new hunting friend" she purred happily,

Swiftheart was known for talking alot and being very energetic, happy and carefree.


"Come ill show you some fun places we can maybe catch some frogs"

She said eagerly leading the way out of camp and into the shadowclan lands of marshes and swampy area

Sagepaw hopped to her paws, watching the warrior zig-zag back and forth with her bright yellow eyes flickering.

"I can leap like a frog," she informed her new friend earnestly, as if such was a serious matter. It was her sisters' favourite game in the nursery, and Swiftheart seemed like she enjoyed games.

"I haven't hunted before, though." Sagepaw thought it best to be upfront about it. That said, she was just as eager to go out into the marshes.

She trotted quickly and quietly behind her new friend. You must be good at hunting frogs because you're so energetic and bouncy, Sagepaw hypothesised to herself.

Swifthearts smile beamed happily "You can?? ohh let me see!" the warrior purred happily with kit levels of energy and excitment.

She crouched down and did her best impression of a frog jumping along too giving a little laugh looking at her friend. Swiftheart loved to play games like this and was never worried about others saw her which gave her alot of freedom to be herself.


She shook the bits of grass that clung to her pelt off and waved her tail invitingly its okay that you not been before, come i show you the basics and all the bestest spots okay?"

She ran towards camp exit only slowing down to make sure her new friend was right by her side
