Poppyshine


Poppyshine took a seat beneath the Willow Branch where she usually placed herself for giving out assignments. She called, “Warriors and apprentices of RiverClan, come to me to receive your duties.” It was the same as always, and with how many more apprentices they had around, the patrols were sure to be bigger than usual. She smiled cheerfully at the cats that began to gather. She made a note to herself to try and reach out to her clanmates individually another time and make sure they were all doing well.

Fawneye was lazily wading through the shallow part of the river near the nursery when she heard her deputy's call from the willow branch. She supposed it was getting to be that time again when duties were given. She exited the river, shook off her pelt and took a seat near the edge of the growing crowd.
