Goldenfern waited patiently at the camp entrance for her first apprentice to arrive. She had waited an exceptionally long time to receive an apprentice of her own, but she couldn't have been happier that it was her daughter, Hickorypaw. They had been training for just a little over a moon, and today she finally decided to bring Hickorypaw out for a quiet hunting patrol. She should get Brindlepaw to join them for training some day, just so that she could spend more time with her daughters.
