Fennelbreeze was unable to hold back a giggle at Sootstorm's comment, nodding in agreement. The young tom-kit sure had some fight in him, that was for sure. Though she didn't care for how he hissed at her—perhaps he thought otherwise of a personal idea. "Sure, I don't mind joining you." She purred, glad to help him entertain the kits.

She watched as Sootstorm demonstrated the front paw blow to them, nodding in approval. As long as they kept their claws sheathed, there shouldn't be any visits to the medicine den anytime soon. Nodding in greeting Rosepaw's arrival, she grinned, laughing out softly. "They truly are. I'm glad our clan is having new additions as future warriors."

Glancing at Quickkit, whose name truly fitted her speed, she found herself to be smiling consistently. "Your name fits you, little one. I'm sure you'll grow up to be an excellent warrior."

Quickkit gleamed with pride. She was going to be sleeping in Warriors Den tonight! Which with each passing second was coming closer and closer. Well, as long as she could be quiet while she slept. Which of course she could! She could do that while sleeping. Sleeping while sleeping how does one do that? She wondered. She did not dwell on that to long however as this was a prideful moment, this was something she wasn’t going to do even as an apprentice! Sootstorm hadn’t showed her the move though which was a bit of a let down, but she could copy her siblings with ease. She had known them all her life which wasn’t long to most warriors, but long enough to copy their movements. As she was going over to practice a cat she hadn’t realized had been here had also complemented her, if this many cats were complementing her on speed just how fast would she be later? Well now she was getting complements from cats she knew, barely knew, and who she just did not know. “What's your name?” She said to the cat that had just complemented her.

Dustkit practiced the move making sure his claws were sheathed. He didnt need another lecture from his father. Dustkit playfully started to whack sootstorm, fennelbreeze, and rosepaw. He decided to attack the ones who were older.

Rosepaw gave Fennelbreeze a smile. She hadn't formally met the young warrior, though they had of course crossed paths, and she was pleased to speak to her first at such a joyful time amid all the tragedy. "I'm glad, too." She agreed, the Clan needed new strength. She looked up at the sky, thinking of Flutterpetal. Perhaps that soft white cloud there was him, looking down on her. She smiled up at him back, not caring if she looked like a loon. Wasn't that a bird? What was so odd about it? She shook her head to bring herself back to the present.

Quickkit was asking her a question, looking a little bit bashful. "Well, I know all your names from your papa. Like Fennelbreeze said, your name fits you," she grinned, "and you will all be excellent warriors, I'm sure!" She was almost startled by Dustkit batting at her with a sheathed paw.

She narrowed her single golden eye seriously and held up a large fluffy paw, almost the seize of the young kit's face, batting him back softly. Enough to wobble him a little bit, maybe, but she was sure he could stand his ground. She looked at him with a playful challenge. Let him play fight her with all he had. She stood like she was about to leap and chase him, a gentle kind smile on her face and a determination playfully shining in her eye.
