Crookedlight
Crookedlight had not really spent time with Graywind, and now they were tasked with finding the eagle that had been assaulting cats lately. Crookedlight knew it would be easy to take it down once they found it, and hopefully with the eagle out of the way, it would make hunting easier for all of SkyClan’s warriors.
They traveled for close to an hour, trying to find scents and keeping eyes and ears out for the great bird. Crookedlight stopped suddenly and pointed with his nose to the bird on the ground a few feet away who was eating some prey it found. It hadn’t noticed them yet and Crookedlight carefully crept forward. When he was close enough, he sprang towards it with his claws outstretched. He landed on the eagle, which caused it to shriek and immediately start to fight back. It got out from Crookedlight’s claws and took off into the sky. It dove down and slammed into Crookedlight, but he had expected something like that. When it came down, he shouted, “Graywind, now you!”
Crookedlight used Jumping Strike on the Eagle, dealing 11 (8+3) damage and costing 7 SP. The eagle retaliated with Swoop, dealing 9 damage and costing 15 SP.

Graywind was quick to pad after Crookedlight. The eagle that had been attacking Skyclan's warriors recently needed to be taken care of, and Graywind was confident enough that the pair of them would be able to do so without too much of an issue. The problem, of course, was actually finding the bird.
It took over an hour before the two finally happened upon it, and Crookedlight crept toward it. The eagle was quick to slip from his grasp after he leaped for it, darting away into the sky. With a growl, Graywind leaped into the trees, and as the eagle dropped toward Crookedlight, she launched herself from the branch with unsheathed claws, using her body weight to keep the bird pinned. Not before the eagle had done damage to Crookedlight, but it didn't seem too bad to Graywind, at least. They'd just have to keep it from doing any more.
Graywind used Leaping Bound on Eagle for -10 sp, dealing -7 damage. Eagle is pinned for 1 turn.

Crookedlight got back to his feet and shook out his pelt. It stung where the eagle’s talons had scratched him, but the adrenaline kept him from feeling it too badly. He nodded approvingly when Graywind jumped down onto the bird and Crookedlight was quick to back her up. He drove his claws down across the bird’s back, which earned more screeches as the bird struggled beneath Graywind.
Crookedlight used Front Paw Strike, dealing 8 damage and costing 7 SP. The eagle is pinned.

Feeling her grip loosen, Graywind brought her paws down onto the eagle's head. It had been weakened quickly between the pair of Skyclanners, and soon enough they'd be done with it. She wasn't sure how badly Crookedlight had been sliced open, hopefully it wasn't too bad.
Graywind used Upright Lock for -10 sp, dealing -10 damage.

The eagle squawked and struggled, trying to get out and fly away from the cats. They were tasked with killing this predator so it would not cause further trouble, so Crookedlight did not let it get far. He lashed a claw forward, hooking onto its body and bit into its neck. The eagle’s cries died out quickly and they were left with a dead bird on the forest floor.
Crookedlight panted and wiped the bit of blood from his mouth. He licked at his wound in his side, but it was not bad, and mostly just stung. He lifted his head and smiled at Graywind. “Expertly done. Birdstar and Wolfblossom will be happy to know that this eagle won’t be an issue anymore.”
Crookedlight used Snap, dealing 10 damage and costing 7 SP. The eagle is dead!

The eagle was no longer going to antagonize Skyclan's patrols, and the silver she-cat was glad to be able to step away from it. Blood coated her claws, but it was worth it to help protect the clan. "It stood no chance against us, they'll be glad to know it's dealt with." Graywind boasted her agreement. "Are you okay? Looked like that hurt." She was concerned for her clanmate, but the wound didn't seem to be too horrific... Nothing the medicine cats couldn't patch up, surely.

Crookedlight shook out his pelt and stood up straighter. He smiled at Graywind and nodded. “Yes, I’m alright. It’ll sting for a bit, but nothing some quick herbs back home can’t fix.” He smiled brightly at Graywind. “Let’s head back. This thing will provide some good food and the feathers will be nice for the nests, too.”
