Creamsky smiled softly to himself as he led the way towards the creek - knowing that Rainfrost was just behind him. It had been a while since the two had gotten a chance to hang out, just the two of them...He was reminded of that walk they had moons ago just after Rainfrost had achieved his warrior name that had ended with a light-hearted spar between the two of them - which is why he had suggested the same thing this time. Thought, their destination was different - with the heat rising as Greenleaf grew close, a cool drink from the Moonlit Creek to both start and end their spar seemed wise.
And with all of the rain recently, at least the creek would be rather full. At least the weather seemed well today - rain clouds spotted the sky from what he could see from between the branches but they were light...If there would be rain, it would be a light drizzle at least. As the creek came into view, the warrior let out a content sigh. "Truthfully, I should come here more often. I enjoy the soft rushing sound of the water," he meowed as his ears perked to catch the noise of the river flowing every steadily towards the border. "A moment to catch our breath and get a drink, and then we can begin."

Rain always, ironically, made Rainfrost a little more irritable and on edge. But the weather was also getting warmer, which Rainfrost was grateful for, and he had the chance to spend some time with a cat he cared for, which soothed his grumpier nature. He still needed to make up for how hyperfocused he got on his duties after his cold. He wanted to return to being present for his clanmates, which is why it made him happy that Creamsky invited him out for a spar. He knew he could be distant at times; he was happy his friendships were still intact.
Rainfrost drank in the tranquil air of the territory around the creek, breathing in deep. The camp had been abuzz with the recent going-ons of the latest gathering, and all the excitement was a little overwhelming. He was more than happy to get away from it all with a friend. “It is a good sound,” He agreed with a nod of his head. “I don’t spend enough time here either.”
He drank in the noises, the soft creek, the cheerful birdsong, the breeze ruffling his fur, before he moved to drink from the creek as well. “It is good to have a chance to get some fresh air, as well. This was a good idea, Creamsky.” He flicked his tail affectionately towards his friend, straightening back out from the creek and stretching himself out. “And it will be fun to do a proper spar again.” His smile was faint, but genuine.

A gentle purr rose from Creamsky, ears perking to listen to Rainfrost as he got his own drink from the creek. He was happy he had this idea himself - it was nice to be out of the camp and not be on a patrol or focused on prey. Just time to hang out with his friend... Straightening up, he stepped away from the creek's edge to take a moment to stretch - even taking the time to stretch his back legs independently of each other before he turned to Rainfrost with a smile. "Indeed, I am curious to see who will be the victor this time. Like before, I'll even let you have the first move so make it count," he added with a wink and a warm laugh as he dropped into a battle couch.

Rainfrost huffed a quiet laugh, shaking his head. Returning Creamsky’s smile with a hint of friendly challenge in his gaze, Rainfrost shrugged. “Alright. You're on, then.” He agreed.
Dropping into his own battle crouch, Rainfrost’s eyes did a quick dart around, evaluating the ‘battleground’, before he backed up a few paces and then raced forward. He leapt up and onto Creamsky, barreling into him. His small size makes it hard to do a proper tackle, but the speed boost helped give him the momentum he needed to at least off balance Creamsky. He found himself smiling faintly with the rush of adrenaline.
Rainfrost has used Jumping Strike, dealing -11 damage (8 + 3) and costing -7 SP

Creamsky watched carefully as Rainfrost started to back up, eyes widening as the tom raced forward. The warrior spun, planting his paws as he braced himself as his friend barreled into his side - stumbling backwards from the blow but he managed to remain on his paws as he winced at the faint shockwave of pain that rushed through him from the hardy impact. Giving his entire body a shake, he paced a few steps as he determined his next move before he leapt forward - cuffing Rainfrost on the side of the head with a well-aimed blow.
Creamsky used Front Paw Strike on Rainfrost, dealing 10 damage and costing 7 stamina.

Rainpaw ducked his head as the blow hit it, shaking his head to clear it from the momentary stars in his vision. Creamsky was more experienced than him, as well as a little bigger and stronger, so he would need to get the upper hand if he wanted to win. Thinking fast, Rainfrost once again used his speed in order to back up a few paces before racing forward again. This time he leapt with more purpose, landing square atop Creamsky’s shoulders to send him down and pin him. It was a bit of a risky maneuver, as Rainfrost wasn’t exactly known for his strength and Creamsky may be able to throw him off, but it would pay off if it worked out.
Rainfrost used Leap and Hold, dealing -8 damage and costing -15 SP! Creamsky is pinned for 2 turns.

Creamsky drew back as Rainfrost did, eyes narrowing as he tried to judge the tom's next move - but then suddenly his friend was leaping...Higher than he had been expected and before he knew it, Rainfrost was awkwardly perched on his shoulders. The additional weight caused Creamsky's legs to buckle as he collapsed to the ground with a hiss, barely managing to keep his paws underneath him. There wasn't much he could do other than to try to throw the younger warrior off so with a huff, he rolled to the side - hoping he had enough leverage to free himself. There was a sense of relief as the weight on his shoulders disappeared, allowing him to jump to his paws and bound away before he turned - stalking carefully around as he waited for Rainfrost to recover from the tumble.
Creamsky attempted to use Duck-and-Twist to break the pin and succeeded, costing 5 stamina and dealing 7 damage. Creamsky is no longer pinned
