Boredom [O]

Honeykit blinked sleepily at the ceiling of the nursery. How bored she was, that she must spend so long being in the nursery, she wished to explore outside so much. Just then, a cat entered through an entrance she never noticed before. Where does that entrance lead? She wanted to know so badly. She had heard from other cats about how it is to be outside this structure, hiding among shadows, hunting, and her heart ached with a feeling to also go outside.

When no one was looking, she quickly scrambled across the floor of the nursery to the entrance, then rolled out of the entrance. "wow." was the only word that slipped out of her mouth. The camp was so big! there was a pile of prey in one corner, a few dens but she did not see much before she felt a cat creeping up behind her and holding her up by her scruff.

Goldenfern was depositing her catch-- two mice and a thrush-- at the fresh-kill pile when she noticed the new kit, Honeykit, tumble out of the nursery. Her heart melted at the sight of the small kit gwaking at the camp. She padded up and lifted the small kit by her scruff, depositing her gently on a rock so that she could have a better view of the camp.

"Hello, sweetheart," She purred, "First time out of the nursery?" She flicked a leaf off the kit's head, her blue eyes filled with warmth and fondness. Kits were just too cute...

"Yes..." Honeykit responded cautiously, while glancing around from the rock. "who...who are you?" Honeykit asked the she-cat.

Goldenfern noticed that the she-kit was feeling a little skittish and quickly mewed, "My name is Goldenfern, and I'm a warrior." She looked around at the camp then added in a soft voice, "It must be lonely being the only kit in the nursery."

Honeykit pondered for a while before replying, “Yes.. it is a bit lonely… I wished someone can play with me…” Her soft amber eyes seemed to be sad as she said that and her ears drooped a little.
