Starting anew[O]

Valley collapsed on the make-shift nest he had fashioned out of moss, a few stray feathers and some of the soft, colorful pelts that Upwalkers enjoyed wearing, though the ones he found were dirty and faded. His limbs ached; after travelling for so many moons, he was still no closer to his destination then when he had first begun this journey. Bringing a paw to his face, he began attempting to clean some of the dirt off his body. His stomach growled softly, reminding him that he had yet to eat a meal since the sun rose and cast it's light onto the land two sunrises ago.

Just as he was debating whether to try and get some sleep or go hunting in unknown territory, a shadow fell over him, and an unfamiliar scent flooded his senses.
