Hopekit sighed as she laid in the clearing, her tail lashing up and down, the molly rolled around laying onto her back she exposed her stomach

The senior apprentice had been taking time to heal his wounds that were left from the fight with the owl, while he hadn't been nearly as injured as his mentor, he was still reeling from the few he did have. The white-furred tom had stretched himself out in the center of camp and hadn't been paying much attention to those around him until movement caught his eye. Hopekit. A newer kit, he hadn't interacted with her much but he was aware of her condition. Echopaw approached with a smile on his face and reached out with a paw to nudge her shoulder so she would be aware of his presence.

Hopekit sighed as she laid in the clearing her blinded blue eyes gazing at the sky. twitching her nose and ears. she jumped a bit as the older apprentice nudged her shoulder, the molly sat down facing at Echopaw

Echopaw twitched his whiskers and furrowed his brow. She can't hear me. Or see me. How do I communicate? How...how..how.. Ah! The apprentice swiftly jumped to his paws, grabbed the nearest ball of moss he could find and rolled it up. Didn't need eyes or ears to play moss ball. He lifted it up in his maw and dropped it in between her paws, laying his tail on hers so she knew he was still present. Echopaw assumed she knew the difference between clanmates by their scent. Since she couldn't see or hear he supposed her sense of smell and touch were quite good.

Hopekit sniffed the air as she sat their then feeling a mossball her head turned to Echopaw feeling he still in presence. The molly tilted her head as she was unaware of what a mossball was, certainly no one told her about Mossball or games or who the clanmates were

Echopaw furrowed his brow, his nose wrinkling as he concentrated. How could he help her understand the concept of moss ball. It took him a few moments, perhaps Hopekit had thought he had left. But he sat in silence, tail thumping the ground lightly as he brainstormed. He could toss the moss ball at her. But then she may think he was bullying her and that wouldn't be good. He wondered if she could vocalize anything, though he didn't think she would be able to fully communicate. "How bout this." he meowed, to himself. The apprentice picked up the kitten's paw, and pushed it towards the moss ball, tossing the moss ball to the kitten's other paw. Echo moved to the other side of the kitten, picked up her paw, and pushed the moss ball again. Perhaps like this, she was able to understand the moss ball.

Hopekit lifted her tail as her paw was lifted, slight little thump from Echopaw's tail made Hopekit frown, she dropped her tail down making a viberation around her the molly did the same as the other paw was picked up, as her paws pushed the mossball she smiled, a small understanding filled her, she
got up on her paws. her tail flicking side to side wanting to do it again
