1. In order to maintain transparency and accountability, the staff team has released a spreadsheet detailing the duties split between the team. This list is not exhaustive, but it is meant to give an idea of how responsibilities are handled by each member. Click the link here to view! Given recent changes and us always wanting feedback, staff would like to remind the site of the anon feedback submission form found here. Remember to keep criticism constructive and that bullying and harassment are against site rules. Thank you! 3. PLEASE NOTE: There is still a hold on all major plots for the time being. Any currently ongoing plots may continue as planned, but no new major plots will be approved at this time. Thank you! 4. The 2022-23 WCC Sitewide has continued! quote of the month (submissions)
The quote of the month is designed to display the fun, inspiring, or impactful dialogue that our userbase comes up with. Quotes can be submitted at any time but staff will only select eligible quotes from the month prior to the release of the newsletter. Our goal is to feature different characters from all different clans and various users. Quotes will be selected by staff from the submitted pool and will be shared alongside their origin topic, along with the character name, roleplayer, and context for the quote.
Quotes can be submitted in the form linked. Please feel free to submit multiple quotes during every monthly time period. All submissions are anonymous, so of course you may submit your own as well. If you have a quote you'd like to see included in the quote of the month competition, fill out the form here!

Below you can find some brief notes of major things happening on the site. Please note this section will only cover events impacting multiple clans or the whole forest. Please visit your local clan pages for information on in-clan details.
After an earthquake and nosy twolegs drove the Clans from their home, they hoped to find some respite in the sanctuary of Fourtrees. However, after days of waiting, they’re about to learn that five colonies of cats don’t tend to go unnoticed, especially not when they’re sitting in one spot. Try not to get caught as you make a run for it!
Forest Forecast
Daily Temperature: Leaf-Fall is almost entirely gone. The nights are frigid and the days aren’t much warmer. Expect gray skies and light flurries.
Down’s Helpful Tip: As we sit in-between major holidays, finals season, and the darker months of the year, remember to look after yourself <3 WCC loves you and wants you to be well!

Sitewide Updates and Need-to-Knows:
An earthquake suddenly and without warning has struck the Clans! In each Clan camp, there are topics delineating what occurred in each respective Clan. Throughout the forest, the earthquake has caused many problems, ranging from cracks in the earth, to minor flooding, to injuries. Trees have been uprooted, dens have been disturbed, and there is a lingering sense of dread that there is more to come.
Following the earthquake, the Clans fled to Fourtrees to seek shelter there. Despite the grumbling of monsters and barking of unruly twolegs in the distance, the days following have been pretty peaceful. But just as its starting to seem like not much else will come of the experience, all the bustle hits Fourtrees in full swing, with twolegs descending into the clearing to pick up as many of the cats as they can. Keep yourselves sharp!
