Swiftheart did her best to keep light on her paws, to allow for a more fast paced defense, the hit the badger got on her earlier had hurt alot and she was not intending to let it land another one so easily this time.

She could hear the battle going on behind her with Night and Leopard but she dared not to look not willing to turn her back away from the badger that Dusk and her were up against. She had to trust that Nightstar and Leopardsun would keep their badger from getting her or Duskflight from behind, and likewise they would have to do the same, getting caught by one of these was bad enough two was dark forest luck it felt like.

Her ears flicked hearing her mates nervous voice on the verge of a tremble. She defenetly would feel that injury later but she was more than fine for now and for sure was still in this fight.

"Its okay, Im alright Duskflight" she mewed keeping her eyes locked on the opponent in case it made any sudden moves. For now they were in a standoff circling each other for an opening to make a move.

Her mate got a very solid hit in and she took the breif window to charge in using their 2 on 1 advantage. She bit into the badgers soft side flank biting down hard, the repulsive taste of blood filled her mouth but she just bit down harder. She hated to imagine an apprentice being caught out with one of these things, Roseburn had been hurt enough by one, they had to bring both of these things down for good.

While the badger was recovering from its stun, Nightstar leaped forwards and brought his paws down on its head, a snarl escaping the leader's throat with the force behind the attack. He was putting all his might into it, he'd show it the ferocity of Shadowclan, and if it lived through this encounter, would surely tell any other predators that dared think of moving into their territory, would turn them away.
