Brightpaw's Assessment

Pinespirit waited at the Apprentices' Den entrance. "Brightpaw. I need you. You're assessment is all you have left."

Brightpaw raced out of the apprentices den, almost right into Pinespirit, "oh, really, alright," she mewed, feeling a little nervous.

Pinespirit padded along with Brightpaw. "Okay. I need you to hunt as much as you can, then return before sunset. (its not too long until sunset, like an hour till' in the rp world XD) I'll be watching you." Without a word, she slipped into the bushes.

Brightpaw watched a Pinespirit slipped into the bushes, turning she decided to head towards the river. While on her way there she caught the scent of bird, this would be her chance to catch her first bird. Crouching down slowly she followed the smell, making sure to stay down wind she crept around the conner of a bush and there the bird was. Everything was perfect, crouching low she waited for her chance to pounce, and when the bird turned its back to her she pounced, landing right on top of it and finished it off quickly. Scraping dirt over it for later, she continued on her way to the river.

ic: Pinespirit watched in amusement. Birds were hard for RiverClan to catch. This was good.

IC: Brightpaw had finally reached the rivers edge, crouching down she made sure that her shadow wasn't casted on the water and stared into it, but just as she was getting ready to stike some pinecones fell out of a tree and landed in the water, desturbing the fish, this was going to be hard, Brightpaw though

Pinespirit watched closely.

Brightpaw continued to walk along the rivers edge, looking for something to hunt. While walking she spotted a frog along the river bank. She knew that you could hunt them, but only shadowclan really liked them, but this was a hunting assesment. Crouching low to the ground she advanced forward, but as she did, she didn't notice the stick beneath her feet and stepped on it. When it cracked the frog jumped into the water. She hissed in frustration, she had only caught one piece of prey.
