Brightpaw's Warrior Ceremony

Pinespirit meowed loudly, "Brightstream! Congratulations! Brightstream! Brightstream! Brightstream!" She tried to raise her voice louder than the other cats.

Brightstream could not believe it, she was finally a warrior, as she was listening to the cats cheering she could hear Pinespirit over them all. Walking over to her she replied, "thanks you so much Pinespirit."

Pinespirit purred, which was hard to tell since you couldn't hear it, but you could see her throat vibrating rapidly. "You're welcome," she meowed, raising her voice, "but here comes the slightly disappointing part." She looked at Bluestar.

Bluestar winked at Pinespirit. "And, as a tradition, you must sit a silent vigil tonight under the stars. Do not hesitate to call out if there is any trouble." She mewed and went into her den.

Pinespirit watched Bluestar struggle to get to her den from the crowd of cats. "Good luck tonight, Brightpa-- Brightstream."

Brightstream dipped her head in far well, because this time she wasn't going to talk.
