Welcome Home [Solo]

Crimsonflame had never been as happy wandering the territory as he was after he had been welcomed back into SkyClan. But he was going to relish the experience now. The sun warming his back, the song of bird in the trees, the grass beneath his paws, it all felt so good. He wasn't afraid anymore, with Briarstar as leader, and Bloodstrike being exiled, everything was going to be okay now.

The Tom did what was probably the most SkyClan thing ever, and climbed a tree. From there, he set his eyes on a squirrel below him. Oh how good it felt to hunt here again.

Landing on top of the rodent, Crimsonflame delivered a sift bite to the neck, climbing down to bury it before moving on. He would be happy to bring home more prey.

A dove was grooming itself on a low branch above him, running it's beak through it's feathers, and Crimsonflame began his upward descent once again. Adrenaline coursed through his veins, the thrill of the hunt surrounding him, encompassing him like the warmth of the sun. He felt so alive, so happy. It felt like nothing could ruin it.

Like clockwork, the tom leaped down, just as he had done for the squirrel, and made a killing blow, going to bury the dove, just as he had done his previous prey, and then the hunt continued.

Not all prey was to be found within the trees, and Crimsonflame always had been better at ground hunting, even if his hunting in the trees definitely showed the skill of a SkyClan warrior. Still, he was not about to turn down the vole he spotted at the roots of a tree, chewing on some fallen seeds.

Or maybe he was growing to be too much SkyClan, as something gave him away to his quarry, and the vole scampered away. Oh well, he still had two pieces of prey to bring back to camp. Gathering the dove and squirrel in his jaws, Crimsonflame made his way back to camp. This excursion had gone well enough, he was happy with the results.
