Frostgaze leaped onto the Jaggedrock, doing so carefully to ensure he had actually made it up fully. He hadn't had to scrabble up yet due to his short stature, and he wasn't planning on doing so anytime soon. "All cats old enough to silently stalk in the shadows, gather in the shadow of Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" Another warrior ceremony, and so soon. Many of Shadowclan's apprentices had proven themselves, and the tom had to agree. Forestpaw was no different, and deserved his name.

❒ After having been given the go-ahead to resume his apprentice duties not too long ago, Forestpaw jumped right back in with haste and relief. He missed mingling with his peers and his other clanmates. Currently, the young tom had been supplying the nursery with fresh moss and a nice mouse for the residents to enjoy. He resurfaced just in time to hear Frostgaze's call. A clan meeting? He sure hoped it was something positive.
❒ He took a moment to clean off any mess from his fluffy pelt but as soon as that was done, he made his way over to where the clan was gathering. His amber gaze was full of curiosity yet held some wariness. Nothing on the older tom's face betrayed anything bad but one can never be too sure. Forest was hoping for this to be a ceremony. They have been celebrating those more often recently. It was a great way to boost the clan's morale. Starclan knows they need more of that after all they've been through.

Frostgaze watched as Forestpaw cleaned off his fur and approached the meeting, and couldn't help but wonder if he realized this was to be his ceremony? Surely not, the tom was always careful to not reveal whose ceremony a meeting was to be, the element of surprise was... entertaining to see. Regardless, he began to speak. "ShadowClan! I've summoned you here today to witness the naming of a new warrior. Forestpaw, please step forward." Frostgaze allowed Forestpaw to step forward before continuing. "I call upon all those present and watching to gaze upon this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of our noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in her turn. Forestpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

❒ The small amount of tension the young tom had been feeling melted away. He was relieved to hear that the meeting would not be addressing any bad news but rather a warrior ceremony. Before he could even wonder who the luck apprentice would be, his name was called. What? He blinked once then twice. He thought he'd misheard Frostgaze but noticed the leader watching him. Oh... OH! He quickly got up and stepped forward, tail twitching behind him in eagerness and slight anxiety. This was his own ceremony. Now that his mind had caught up, he couldn't help but vibrate with excitement. It was finally his time! He couldn't be more relieved to see that he hadn't been forgotten about.
❒ Frostgaze proceeded with the ceremony after Forestpaw had taken his place at the front of the assembled group. The apprentice never took his eyes off of the white-furred tom atop the Jaggedrock. He knew his part was coming up. He just hoped he wouldn't embarrass himself by stuttering or doing anything dumb.
❒ He stood up straighter, a serious expression taking a hold of his face. "I do," he vowed with little difficulty—nothing like he thought it would've gone. He was just too nervous all the time. He needed to learn to relax and believe in himself. Doing all this overthinking probably wasn't good for his already shaky health. But hey, at least he hadn't made a fool of himself! He was feeling quite proud of himself at that moment.

Frostgaze gave a nod to Shadowclan's newest warrior. "Then it is my honor to name you a warrior before all witnesses present. Forestpaw, from this day forward you will be known as Forestbreeze. ShadowClan honors your resourcefulness and empathy, and we are proud to welcome you as a warrior in our ranks." Leaping down, the tom gave the ceremonial lick to Forestbreeze's shoulder, and under his breath, he whispered, "I am very proud of you. Do not forget your vigil." With that, the tom backed away, allowing others to congratulate Forestbreeze.

Iceheart watched the ceremony from the crowd and she even had a slight smile on her maw. It was finally time for Forestpaw to ascend the ranks into being a warrior, just like the rest of them. She’d heard a whisper of a rumor about it from the other warriors, and so had set up a new nest right next to hers in the warrior den so he could have a good place to sleep.
When Forestbreeze was given his name, Iceheart’s eyes lit up and her ears perked eagerly. It was only a moment before she joined in with the chants of the rest of the clan. “Forestbreeze! Forestbreeze! Forestbreeze!”
