a chance to sharpen one's claws [OPEN]

Vixenpaw pranced about as she waited for the other cats to assemble. she was suppose spar, but unless there were other cats to spar with, she might have a few difficulties carrying out her assignment.

Swiftheart streched and yawned as she went over to the apprentice, "hello Vixenpaw!" she said excitedly, she was very happy to train with her.

She glanced around wondering if anyone else would want to join them too

Snowfoot wasn’t far behind Swiftheart. As Vixenpaw’s mentor, she felt a certain responsibility. Maybe she was a little overzealous, but her own mentor had pretty much ignored her, so Snowfoot didn’t exactly have the best grasp of normal.

Vixenpaw greeted Swiftheart normally, but her fur prickled as Snowfoot appeared. she still had not quite forgiven her for their last quarrel.

"Looks like no other cats are joining us," Vixenpaw told Swiftheart, forcing her tone to be cheerful.

Swiftheart felt a bit like she was in between something and glanced between the mentor and apprentice pair.

She had recently talked with snowfoot about the dificulties that Vixenpaw has understandably so.


The white molly shifted on her paws a little uncomfortable but was glad to see that Vixenpaw was cheerful

(she did not know it was totally forced)

"hmm okay... ermm" she said trying to think of what to say


She looked to Snowfoot. Snowfoot was the mentor of Vixenpaw. So, Swiftheart wanted Snowfoot to pick what they worked on. She didnt want Snowfoot to feel like she was barging in on their training but was happy to help in any way as well.

"Snowfoot, how about you pick how we do this practice sparring? Would you like to be on a team with Vixenpaw against me? Or would you rather train them individually and I can watch?"

she offered the other warrior.

“Maybe Vixenpaw and I could team up?” Snowfoot suggested. “I feel like some double-team practice could do her some good, don’t think we’ve worked on that yet.” She stretched out, wiggling her rump a bit. “If you’re ready, Swiftheart, come at one of us!”

Swiftheart nodded "ok sure..." she purred

she crouched getting ready and faced her two practice clanmates.


She leapt at snowfoot and tried to hit them but was extra careful not to actually hurt them since this was obviously jsut like practice spar thing.

Swift uses front paw blow for 7 dmg 5 sp

Vixenpaw waited until Swiftheart was aiming at Snowfoot, then ran forward and yanked the white molly's tail. gently, of course, since she did not want to injure the expecting queen.

Vixenpaw used tail yank for -15SP and -7(+1)dmg
