Whisperpaw stayed in camp often, just as they stayed in camp today. Most days it proved to be boring and frustrating to not get out more, but today it allowed them to pick up the quiet mews of a voice belonging to someone they had not met yet. Whisperpaw stood from their nest and exited the apprentice’s den. Their eyes searched until they landed on Crowkit over by the nursery. Crowkit, the child of Batsong, one of Whisperpaw's beloved friends. Whisperpaw certainly couldn't leave the poor kit crying out there alone. They walked over and sat down before the small kit. “Hello there. What is on your mind? Are you feeling lost?”

Batsong heard her kitten nearby calling for her and she quickly walked over to Crowkit.
"Hey, I am here" she purred comfortingly as she sat beside her kit. She gently groomed her kittens fur. They looked really similar to her with the dark black fur. She grinned happily seeing they were healthy and doing well.
Whisperpaw was also here and she was glad the two of them had met each other. Whisperpaw and Batsong were very close and she couldnt be happier having them here now too.
Whisperpaw this is my kit Crowkit" she introduced the two of them.

Ryepaw had stopped back at the nursery to check on Batsong. Although they were not that close the she-cat had given him some advise about sneaking into the leader's den...it wasn't as exciting as he thought it would be but the least that he could do was check up on her. "Batsong?" he called softly. As he called for the she-cat he saw that Whisperpaw was with Crowkit, the newest kit in the nursery. "Well hello there Crowkit, my name is Ryepaw." he said smoothly.

Crowkit smiled. "Hi!" Her mood lightened up. "You guys are apprentices right? You do super cool warrior stuff, right?' She asked.

Batsong grinned seeing Ryepaw Ryepaw! So good to see you again she said happy to see the younger tom once more. He had been so fun as a kit and was kinda like her when she was a kit in that he liked a little bit of trouble/mischeif at times. It was so good to see him meeting her kit.

Blazepaw bounded over after Ryepaw. “Yeah, we’re apprentices,” she bragged. “We’re practicing to be warriors! I’m not that good yet, Ryepaw’s doing really well,” she mewed, casting a flirty glance at Ryepaw.

Ryepaw smiled at Blazepaw's words and then went over to lick her head, flirting back. "You are better than you give yourself credit for Blazepaw." He knew that he was a handsome tom, with his silver fur, black stripes-dots and his orange eyes.
He turned his attention back to the kit as he layed his tail across the back of the she-cat still flirting with her, but more subtly in front of the kit. "We do train to become warrior's Crowkit." he said with a small smile. "Is there anything that you would like to learn?"
Crowkit smiled. "I wanna learn to be a good fighter!" She said, crouching playfully.

Ryepaw crouched with the little kitten and then nodded. "Alright, the first move that you have to learn is to swipe." he demonstrated by swiping his paw.

Ryepaw purred at the sight of the smaller kit puffing her out her at the pride because of the fact that her mother had praised her. "That was a very good job Crowkit, would you like to try another move?" he asked gently. Ryepaw didn't want to push the older kit to far, but it would never hurt for her to learn more fighting moves before she was out of the nursery.
