Square One [Closed for Holly]

It was early in the morning, just as he'd promised his latest apprentice. The warrior was currently on his way to the apprentice's den in order to wake up said apprentice. He had high hopes for this one. His last two turned out well...enough. Now that he had more experience in training up the clan's future warriors, he felt more confident in his methods as well as in himself...Let's see if that holds true, though.

He quietly entered the den and searched around for the familiar tabby pelt of his apprentice. Once he'd spotted her resting peacefully, he padded over and gently prodded her with a paw. "Hey, kiddo. 's time to get up and start the day. First day of training and all that...Remember? Meet me at the camp entrance once you're up and ready to rumble." he whispered as he gave her a final tap with his paw. Afterwards, the senior warrior maneuvered himself out of the den and made his way over to the camp's entrance, just as he had said. He settled down to wait.

Flurrypaw woke slowly to her mentor's prodding, though it didn't take long - it turned out that sleeping in a new place was something of an adjustment, at least for her. She wondered, briefly, if the other apprentices had taken a while to get used to a new den and resolved to ask later. In the meantime, she was excited to start her training. She took her time exiting the apprentice's den, trying not to disturb her denmates' rest.

As soon as she was out, though, she dashed toward Robinpatch and the entrance of camp. "I'm ready now! There's a lot to learn, right? And I want to see what it's like outside of camp!"
