Dancing with the Rain (OPEN)

Rainkit exits the Nursery with a Bunch of Energy, Running quickly around camp, Ducking and Sliding under Warriors and Apprentices, They know that They shouldn't stray far, But They spotted something GORGEOUS!, But they Slide to a Stop, Having lost it... And they Bump into a Poor cat who was in their path. "Huh, I thought rocks were supposed to be HARD- Oh!, Hello!, Awfully soft rock this is, Hm?" They mention to the cat they've just ran into, Not recognizing that the 'Rock' Is actually the Same cat they're talking to.

Reedkit ran around after Rainkit, caught in a game of Chase. suddenly, Rainkit bumped into a cat and it took all Reedkit's willpower to stop him from crashing as well. hearing Rainkit's comments, he laughingly swatted a paw over his sibling's ears. "That's not a soft rock, it's a cat, mousebrain!" he purred.

After Reedkit mentioned the 'Rock' Was another part of the cat, They swiftly reply "Well how was I- Wait.. No... that makes sense, You're right, Rrr...r...(Thinking) Reedkit." Rainkit said, Correcting themselves, And looking around for the gorgeous thing they had just seen. Long, It looked like.. A stick with Long Fur, It was stunning, Gray, With some Green and Purple, It was truly beautiful. Rainkit finally backed up and faced Reedkit. "Well, Where will our Adventures lead us next?" They asked, Excited for Wherever the Two would go next.

Reedkit laughed as his sibling  corrected themselves. He really did have thistledowns for brains! “Hmm, want to check out over there?” He suggested, gesturing with his bright ginger tail to the apprentice’s den. He really wanted to see what there was, and check on Softki-paw too. “We’ll be apprentices soon so we have to see where we should put our nests!” He declared to Rainkit.

Rainkit shone with Excitement as Reedkit replied They started giggling to themselves "Yes yes yes!!, Let's go now!, I'll race you on three!... THREE!" Rainkit then sped off, Giggling their head off, With their, Admittedly Cheeky, Start, They raced towards the Apprentice den,  Still looking for things that might've caught their eyes, AKA, Anything aside from Dull rocks and the Slowly Melting Snow.

Reedkit pouted as Rainkit darted away. “Hey! That’s cheating!” He complained, running after Rainkit. His giant paws let him bound past his sibling with ease and he stopped at the apprentice den right before Rainkit skidded to a halt. “I won!” He laughed, in a joking manner. He poked his head in and looked around. It didn’t have the milky scent of the nursery.

"Awe... Rats... You won, Even while being fair!, Cheaters never win, Anyway." Rainkit admitted to their Mini-Crime, And trotted to the den, Picking up a Colorful Stick with Fur feather On the way, Slowing down, Just in case they ran into another cat. The Apprentice den had many cat scents, They didn't recognize them yet, But they would in the future. They would've spoken, and asked some apprentices What they were doing, Almost being warriors after all, But, Rainkit wouldn't have, Because of the feather Stick with Fur, They liked it, It was like the other one, But not. They then, Couldn't handle not being able to talk, And shoved the Stick with fur into the Mass of fur that they had. "There we go! Now I can talk!, Where will we sleep..." Rainkit said, Focused on finding the Perfect Spot, While also making sure the Stick with Fur meshed in with their own fur, Attempting to make it look as if they were Extra Colorful

ooc: the extra colorful part caused me a bit of internal pain but it's worth it

Reedkit purred at Rainkit’s complains. He noticed a corner in the den that was empty, stacked with balls of moss and a few sticks with grey fur. “How about there? It’s close to Softpaw’s nest and has enough space for everyone else!” He chirped, padding happily to the corner and plopping down.

Rainkit shone with excitement, And stopped fixing the furred stick to their fur, And leapt over to the mentioned place, Examining the area. "It's perfect! We'll all be next to each-other! Amazing eye, Reed!" Rainkit chimed as they sat down. "How do I look? I Think it's hard to see where the Furred Stick begins!" Rainkit said proudly to Reedkit, Mentioning the Feather in their fur. The colors were Similar, But they were Slightly off. Rainkit grinned, Proud of the almost Seamless transition of color in their fur.

Reedkit reassured Rainkit immediately that he looked wonderful and Appledapple would love to see him like that. “Where is Appledapple, actually?” He asked, peering out the den to look for his mother.

"Hm... Where IS She?" Rainkit was Genuinely curious now, They sniffed for her, but The scents melded together, StarClan forgive us this kit nose! "We should go back to the nursery.. Soon at least." Rainkit admitted sadly

Reedkit nodded and got to his paws. “Come on! Race you there!” He chirped and darted away towards the nursery. If Rainkit hadn’t cheated earlier, maybe Reedkit would have let him win this race.

Rainkit got up quickly and chased after Reed "Hey! Rude!" It made SOME sense, Rainkit DID Cheat earlier.. But STILL, Rainkit bounded after Reedkit. "HEY!!! LOOK BEHIND YOU!!" Rainkit said in an attempt to get Reed to slow down... Wait, They're still cheating... Eh, Rain was bounding pretty close to Reed, But would they Catch up?

Reedkit glanced over his shoulder to see what Rainkit was talking about and only realised what had happened when Rainkit had ran past him. the calico tom frowned. cheating playfully was one thing, but lying? "Hey, don't lie! It's bad!" He pouted.

Rainkit won this time! They muttered a silent 'yess' To themselves "Well... I was coming up behind you, So If you decided to think that I was behind you instead, That would've been correct!, But... Yeah.. Lying is bad. This doesn't Justify it. Lets think about the good, We're even!" Rainkit said, That last part being a Somewhat Failed attempt at Consoling Reed. They then find Another, Furred Stick, But it was a Soft brown, They Try to smooth it into Reed's Shorter fur. "NOW We're even! You're stunning!" Rainkit thought that they did a Better job at consoling Reed there, Having given Reed a gift that HOPEFULLY Reed would like just as much as They did.
