| “Nice one!” Snowpaw mewed. “Okay, one more…” She picked up another scent trail. Rat. She had to follow this one a fair minute, but finally found her prey. Snowpaw crouched, then sprang. The rat looked up at the last second and bolted. Drat.

| Deerpaw watched Snowpaw work for a bit. ok, time to win this. she considered letting Snowpaw win on purpose, but decided feeding the clan was a higher priority. she noticed a snake crawling around a rotting log. perfect!
