Whinterpaw's Hunting Lesson

Sunset sat waiting at the entrance of camp for Whinterpaw.

Whinterpaw came out of apprentice den and padded up to Sunset."What are we doing today?" he meowed

"We're hunting."
She said.
"I might even give you some hints on fighting and patrolling, seeing as Featherfall and Deadfrost aren't out and about. Come, let's get started."
She said, standing up and padding out of the entrance.

"Ok". said Whinterpaw and followed aside Sunset."Where are we going to hunt?"

OOC: *goes and looks in book*

IC:
"Let's head to the Great Sycamore. I've had many succesful hunts there!"
She mewed, as they headed off to their destination.

"Oh okay" he said and followed Sunset

OCC: Err.. about Chance dice... i get how to use the hunting system but idk when to post it and actually use the dice... ;(

"here. copy this."
She crouched down, and when Whinter did,
She got up and adjusted his crouch a little.
"Mhm, good."
She pricked her ears at the sound of prey.
"here's what you do..."

OOC: if you click 'post reply' at the bottom, you type the message of hnting. you then go down where it says 'dice roll #1' and click the down arrow. Pick 'chance dice' and then click 'send' up above that. look back at your post. if you get 4 or above, you caught it.

Whinterpaw,into the hunting position stalked the prey and leapt into the air

mewed Sunset.
"That was good for your first time. Why don't you try that again. What can you smell?"

Whinterpaw sniffed the air. "I can smell squirrel and a faint smell of something else i dont know." he replied

Sunset sniffed the air; He was right. There was another scent! It smelled like....
"Fox!"
She hissed.
"WE need to move, quick!"

Panic flooded over Whinterpaw and started to run not looking back, making sure Sunset was in sight because he was afraid he might get lost.

Sunset started slowing down.
The fox had gone the other way.
"Whinterpaw, slow down, it's gone."
She panted.

Whinterpaw checked to see if it was really gone, it had disappeared... "What now?" he panted trying to catch his breath.
