Waterkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Nettlestar held back a sigh as she climbed onto the Highrock. All was far from well, with the mood darkening as each day came and ThunderClan was still deprived of their freedom. She was far from well, and had many unpleasant things on her mind, but she could not let that be reflected while addressing the clan, especially not when she had to conduct an apprentice ceremony, lest she set an ill tone for the occasion. StarClan knew even little things like an unpleasant tone at your apprentice ceremony could stick in a cat's head and effect their entire apprenticeship, and beyond. Bad starts often meant bad endings, and the very last thing she wanted to do was let her own troubles plague this kit's important day and give her worries for the future. She let all the emotion fall off her face, wearing that practiced, neutral expression of hers.


"ThunderClan! Please gather beneath the Highrock for a clan meeting!"

Waterkit woke up to the sound of the clan being told to meet beneath the Highrock.  She still did not understand all of what the clan did even after being there for two moons now.  She had not been in the clan meetings too much, but was excited to attend one.  She walked with a small crowd over to the Highrock.  She sat down on one of the sides of the small crowd, still not used to being in a place with so many cats, and curled her tail around the front of her paws, waiting to hear what the meeting was about.
