Orangepaw's Warrior Ceremony

"Cats of ThunderClan!" Nettlestar said, calling forth her clanmates, "Please gather beneath the Highrock for a clan meeting,"

She was here to conduct another warrior ceremony, which she always was glad to do, especially now, in times of trouble, when good warriors were especially necessary.

She watched her clan gathering before her, waiting for Orangepaw to appear so she could proceed with the ceremony.

OrangePaw was excited any ceremony now he would become a warrior, as NettleStar looked at him he knew it, it was time.

"Orangepaw," Nettlestar said, meeting the enthusiastic apprentice's gaze. "Take a step forward, please,"

After the young tom had done so, she continued on.


"I, Nettlestar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Orangepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

“OrangePaw” NettleStar said “Take a step forward” he took a step forward and waited for her to continue after NettleStar finished the rest of the speech OrangePaw said “I do”

Nettlestar nodded in acknowledgement of the apprentice's response, then continued, still meeting the soon-to-be warrior's gaze.


"Then, by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Orangepaw, from this moment on you will be known as Orangeheart. StarClan honors your kindness and energetic personality, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan,"

She finished speaking the final words of the ceremony, then joined in with the growing chant of the new warrior's name.

After NettleStar finally speaking he felt pride he just became a warrior! He felt amazing this was a feeling he would never forget, as he heard the other cats chant his new name he knew that sometime he would show the asylum who is boss of the parts of the forest.
