RiverClan Warrior Games

Streamtail had heard about a game set up by the Asylum, she was absolutely down for it. The blue-gray warrior needed to spar with someone, and as her emerald green eyes scanned the crowd, she spotted a lonely Asylum she-cat. Padding towards the she-cat, Streamtail greeted her. "Hi. Let's spar." Smiling at the Asylum cat, the warrior charged at her, tackling her to the ground.

Wisteriabloom was starting to enjoy herself a bit, forgetting about the Asylum guards, who were watching every move. She appreciated how some of them were joining in, and noticed how Streamtail had challenged one. However, her wrestle with the deputy had not been forgotten. The smaller warrior went for her legs, and she somehow managed to dodge, even though she could barely see what was happening through her long pelt. Now that Stormbringer was on the ground, Wisteriabloom quickly turned around, and tried to pin her. As she was so much bigger, she could get away with just using brute strength, something she was grateful for.

Eos twisted as the tabby warrior shoved back, bracing her paws on the ground. He was stronger than she'd initially given him credit for, but it was no matter. This was meant to bring the clan cats closer to Asylum, so her claws remained firmly sheathed. She shoved back, putting more strength into the move, while keeping her hind paws firmly planted.

Raisha snorted as the warrior charged at her, and she actually smiled. This was one of the more pleasant cats in the Clan, although she herself had not interacted with her before now. Perhaps this would be quite enjoyable, sparring with a cat without having a quarrel with them.

"Good luck, and may the best cat win." She purred dipping her head. And then it began. The warrior charged at her, and she was brought down, though not pinned. She would not allow that much. Kicking up with sheathed claws, she dislodged herself, worming her way back to her paws before going after Streamtail's legs in an attempt to knock her off balance.

He was a bit of a late arrival, but as Duran jogged into sight of the competition he realized that it was fine; it seemed they were still on the first set of matches.  Taking a moment to catch his breath, the short gray-furred tom sat down on the outskirts, observing the matches going on.  Stormbringer and Wisteria...bloom?  There are so many new names I have to learn still.  Oh, Streamtail is fighting Raisha!  Seeing his best clan friend sparring with one of his closest Asylum friends brought a wide smile to his face.  Eos and Shrikefrost too...I wonder how all these fights will turn out.  Content to watch rather than jump right in, Duran kept his gaze fixed on the competitors, feeling a relieving sense of peace wash over him.  Someday soon, this is how it'll be every day.  Asylum and Clan, mixed and indistinguishable...normal.

Duran is open to be challenged!

Streamtail attempted to scramble backwards as the Asylum she-cat attempted to swipe for her legs. The other cat had almost succeeded on tripping her, but the RiverClan warrior was still pretty experienced and had a few tricks she learned from battling predators. Her mind whirling for an attack that she wanted to use, she dove under the she-cat's belly and started to kick at it with sheathed hind paws, before trying to get out of her opponent's attack range. It wasn't the best way to try and pin someone down but it worked. "You're good." Streamtail noted. She hadn't had a spar this fun before.

Raisha grunted as Streamtail began to batter at her belly, and mentally berated herself for not even thinking about flopping down. That would have been such an easy win too! Oh well, there would be other opportunities. As Streamtail backed away, and actually complimented her, she grinned. "You're not so bad yourself." she returned. It was not often she was kind to the Clan cats, or any cat for that matter, but this RiverClan was being nice, so she decided she could at least return the favor.

As she went for another attack, she decided to try a different tactic. She was one of the faster Asylum cats, she could use that to her advantage. She would dart around Streamtail before prodding her side, not too roughly. Her goal was to knock her off balance, not to hurt her, after all.

The tortoiseshell, however slender, was surprisingly sturdy. That didn’t mean he would give up. Shrikefrost caught himself from falling after his push failed, only for her to push right back. The ghost tabby allowed himself to fall to the ground. As quickly as he could, he slid away from where he’d just been, not allowing her to take advantage of his fall. He noticed she was reliant on her hind legs, so if he went for those he could hopefully make her fall and then pin her. On four legs, Shrikefrost reared back up on two, hoping his competitor would do the same. It was a feint, and he would dive under her and sweep her hind legs off the ground, if he was able.
