Beauty in Everything [Solo]

Raisha padded through the territory, her paws wandering aimlessly. Despite her misgivings on the Clan, she did sort of enjoy it here. She was getting used to swimming, and the taste of fish was growing on her. The sound of the river was so soothing, and it always carried such a nice breeze. Well, it was nice when it wasn’t cold. Once the Clans truly surrendered and accepted their ways, she might even go as far as to say this place was perfect. Maybe Eris did know what she was doing when she placed Raisha here after all.

Her paws were growing numb as she padded along, but she scarcely noticed. Nor did she care. For the first time in a long time, she was truly at peace, no reason to be grouchy as she had been. It was nice. Not that she would let any cat see this change in her, unless they were Brick, Duran or maybe even Cheville, even though she was placed in ThunderClan. She may hang out with Niylah, but she does not trust her as far as she can throw her.

Although the snowfall had been rather light, the sight of a fairly large pile of the white stuff pulled her from her thoughts. And she could not resist the temptation, nor did she want to. It wasn’t like any cat was watching. Squealing like a kit, she charged head first into the pile of snow, rolling around and laughing. It would be nice if her sister was here to enjoy this with her, but she would just have to have fun on Brick’s behalf too!

Once she had grown tired, Raisha just layed there, staring at the sky. The sky always seemed to be blue-er this time of year. She enjoyed that about it. It always seemed so beautiful to her. It felt like she could lay here forever. But all good things had to come to an end. So it was with a heavy heart that she stood up, shaking out her pelt, and regretfully padded back to camp. Back to her job.
