Sunpaw's Twisting Nightmare

He didn;t give up, he bit in deeper and deeper. He finally felt his teeth press each other, the cat HAD to be dead.

a new cat refreshed the dead one, jumping on Brambleflame's back, it's weight crushing him, and bit down on his neck, constricting him until he couldn't breathe. Deathheart looked on approvingly.
"Kill him. Spare the apprentice."

Deadpaw bit back a yowl as his belly fur turned scarlet, but he fought on. He slashed the nes cat's face, sure he'd cut open his nose.

His eyes began to fade, in real life, nhis breathe fading, he lay limp there. Breathing lightly ever now and then.

Deadpaw struggled to spot Brambleflame being choked, and he threw the minion cat off of him. He slashed to cat holding Brambleflame.

"No!" Sunpaw's light call turned tthe attention to her. She had staggered up, worry showing in her face. The rogue looked at Deathheart, who nodded. The rogue kept his jaws clamped, but in a way that let him breathe slightly. 2, however, grabbed Deadpaw by the scruff and brought him to Deathheart, and when he layed him down, Deathheart tore at Deadpaw's chest.
"Deadpaw."
He looked at the apprentice with interest.
"Come with me. I have been watching you. Strong, loyal. You. Be MY apprentice.

Brambleflame struggled, fell to the ground, and lay there, gasping.

DEadpaw fell to the ground, his chest stinging. He looked up at Deathheart.
Should I...
No! Don't do it! a voice screamed inside his head. Deadpaw froze. His mind froze.

"Ah, yes. Then there's Brambleflame."
He stared coldy at the writhing and gasping lump of brown and black.
He flicked his tail, and another cat, a She-cat, came up and sniffed him.
"He's some potential... to well accompanied with the warrior code though."
SHe replied curtly.

"I won't join you at all."

The she-cat stared at him with disgust.
"Ah, but Brambleflame... have you noticed that all the cats here are bigger than you? Don't you wish to be stronger?"

"I have everything i want WITHOUT you." He glanced at sunpaw.

Deadpaw said nothing. He just stared blankly up at the shadow cat.
This was the biggest decision of his life.
One that would change his future.
His life.
He thought of his father, Moosepelt, his friends, Lightningpaw and Angelkit, and his dearest mate, Snowpaw. Deadpaw took a deep breath.
"Never! I will never join you! You are hurting my friends and stalking in Sunpaw's nightmares, and you will ruin my life! I want to loyal only to my Clan, not a shadow of the past, like you!" he snarled.

"Nice answer." he mewed.

Deadpaw staggered up to his paws and stood next to Bramble. "We will kill you together."
