Not Used to It [Open-hunting]

Bloodstrike watched the others hunt while he held the dead bird in his mouth. Another success and a failure. It was his turn again. The hunting was at least helping to keep his mind busy. He set the bird down next to Flowerthorn when his eyes landed on a rabbit. If he missed this, it would be sad but oh well. If he caught it, then several cats could get a meal out of a rabbit. He crouched down low and slunk toward it, moving behind bushes as the rabbit dipped its head to nibble at plants. Ever so slowly, he closed the distance between him and his potential prey.

Alas, as Bloodstrike made one final move toward the bush closest to it, one that he intended to rush at it from, the rabbit caught wind of his presence and bolted immediately down into the nearest rabbit hole. Bloodstrike straightened up with an irritated growl and made his way back to the pair of cats watching him. He snatched up his robin with some force, more than he intended to. He shrugged at Flowerthorn and waited for her to try to hunt again.

Bloodstrike attempted to catch a rabbit. Failure.
