As Mistpaw dashed through the forest, a burning sensation filled her with anger and frustration. Skittering to a stop, she stared at the tall trees. Mistpaw wanted to scream and yell and rage at herself for being so dumb. She had lead an owl to her brother. She had not checked behind her when Wolfcall followed her. Sighing, Mistpaw sniffed the air for prey-scent and started padding towards the trees. Scenting a bird, Mistpaw slowly scampered up the tree, bark falling off of her claws. As she reached the top, she slowly padded towards the bird, footsteps light and her form shadowed by the leaves.
