The Willow and Ebony trees (CLOSED)

Ebonypaw was bored. She had finished her training, hunted for prey, and now she sat. And waited. She yawned, even though it was still sun high. The warriors were busy, the apprentices were busy. But the kits weren’t...Ebonypaw grinned excitedly, and decided to go to the nursery. A couple of kits were tumbling around and playing mossball with each other. “Hello, kits! Anyone want to play with me?” She asked.

Willowkit looked up from her little moss ball to see an older apprentice looking at them. She padded up to the apprentice and smiled. “I can play with you. I would love to help.“ she mewed as her black tail swished back and forth. She was getting bored of being alone anyway so was excited to have something to do.

Willowkit followed after the apprentice wondering what they would do. Maybe they would play a game she knew heard of. She thought as she bounded around the apprentice’s legs in excitement.

Ebonypaw looked down to see a young kit weaving around her legs. She laughed. “Sure! What do you want to play? I feel like mossball might be too boring nowadays...any suggestions? Also, what’s your name? I’m Ebonypaw.” She greeted the cream, brown and black colored kit. She remembered herself like this too, when she was younger. Ebonypaw had a feeling that they would get along very well.

Willowkit stopped and looked at ebonypaw with a smile. “I’m willowkit, and ummmm I don’t really know any games. Your older do you know any?” She asked than went back to bounding around ebonypaw’s legs.

Ebonypaw grinned. “Why don’t we play...hide and seek? It’s going to be fun! Basically, you hide around camp and we try to find each other. It can also be great practice for your stealth when you become a warrior. Us ShadowClan cats must learn how to hide ourselves and use the shadows as a weapon. No other Clan can do this...and that’s what makes us special, unique.” She told Willowkit, hoping that she would play hide and seek.

Willowkit never heard of hide and seek was was excited. She would be the best Shadowclan hider and even more, the best warrior. She smiled up at ebonypaw pretending to think. “Yay, that sounds fun! Let’s play that!” She mewed happily as her little paws, pawed the ground in excitement.

“Okay!” Ebonypaw said. “You ready? I’ll go first. Count to ten!” Ebonypaw dashed away as the little kit started to count. She scrambled up a tree, her grey pelt blending into the shadows. This was going to be easy for the kit. Her bright eyes would give away everything.

Willowkit started counting and heard ebonypaw run off. When she was done counting she looked up and tried to find her new friend. She searched everywhere in camp, besides up, and was about to give up when she heard a rustle in the leaves above. She looked up and noticed ebonypaw staring back at her. “Found you!” she giggled.
