Crossing Borders

Eaglepaw had seen a rabbit that was munching on some grass. Because of the plague that was affecting her clan, she needed all of the fresh-kill that she could find. She leaped towards the rabbit and ran it straight over the border where she continued to chase it. She knew that she was breaking the warrior code....but her clan needed the food.

Willowpaw was patrolling alone when she heard a rustle of leaves and a whiff WindClan scent.  What was it with so many WindClan cats crossing the border?  As she heard the cat come closer, she crouched, ready to spring. 

Willowpaw used Run and Tackle, dealing 9 HP(6+3) and costing 10 SP.

Eaglepaw yowled in surprise and being tackled from her right flank as she had almost caught the rabbit for her clan. She whipped around and was faced with an apprentice from a different clan. Or what she assumed was an apprentice since this cat was just about as big as her and wasn't full grown yet. Eaglepaw growled as she knew that she had been caught stealing and readied herself to fight this newcomer. Eaglepaw used her long legs to propel herself across to the cat and slashed her claw across the other cat's muzzle.

Willowpaw felt the sting of the intruder's claws on her face and shoved the Windclanner onto their stomach.  She sliced her own claws into this cat who had no respect for borders.

Eaglepaw snarled, heaved up on this Riverclan apprentice and flipped her. The extra training that Eaglepaw was doing on her own was finally paying off as she was able to flip the older apprentice and rake her belly.

Eaglepaw hissed and felt herself that she was not able to go on with this battle. "Fine, you win." she said and whirled around and ran into Windclan territory. "I was in the right to feed my clan apprentice!" she spat. "Would you deny me food for my clan?" she challenged even though she knew that she was in the wrong.
