The Walls You've Fortified [Closed]

Briarthorn loved patrolling. It gave him a chance to walk the moors, and look for trespassers. Rouges, Loners, Clan cats, predators, they were all fun to fight. However, other cat's were the best. Today, he was near the RiverClan border. There were usualy quite a few tresspassers here, like those two apprentices he'd stoped a few weeks ago. Over time, he'd learnd that the trespassing usually happened at the RiverClan, ShadowClan, and Twoleg-place borders. As Briarthorn aproached the border to replace the scent-markers, he stoped in his tracks. He tasted the air, and sure enough, there was a non-WindClan scent. RiverClan. And sure enugh, it was on the WindClan side of the border. Briarthorn smirked. Even if it was on the RiverClan side, he probably would've attacked the cat anyways, as long as they were alone. But since this cat was on the WindClan side, nobody could get mad at him! Well, they could, but they wouldn't have a good reason. Briarthorn approached the scent, confirming the location again. He stayed a few fox-lengths away from the tom, but yowled at him. "Hey! What are you doing on WindClan territory?! Are you aware that you are trespassing? Is your nose defective, could you not smell the scent markers?!" Insults. They were a great way to start a skirmish!

Applefang had been exploring, and soon he was chasing a mouse. It only really went a tiny bit over the border, so the warrior decided to just swiftly grab it. However, an older warrior approached him, but instead of attacking, he insulted him. Applefang could feel his blood boiling. ”Calm down, Fishbrain! I was just grabbing this mouse and I’ll be on my way!” he mewed, but the ginger warrior didn’t think he would be going that easily.

IC: Briarthorn felt a sense of accomplishment at the younger warriors outrage. Perfect. He barely managed to keep himself from smiling, pasting on a serious expression. However, if you looked into is eyes, you could tell he was rather enjoying himself. "That mouse was on the WindClan side of the border." He said, walking towards Applefang. "Let me explain to you what that means, since you obviously don't know. You just stole WindClan prey, and I am in the right to attack you." Immediately after saying this, Briarthorn batted the mouse away and leaped on top of the RiverClan tom, pinning him down.

Applefang rolled his eyes. All of these warriors were so sensitive! First that Thunderclanner Beepaw, and now this tom. They were so annoying sometimes! The ginger tom struggled under the warrior’s grasp. When Applefang got up, Briarthorn was gonna pay!

Briarthorn could feel the RiverClan tom struggling under his grasp. He releaced him, but then imideatly began to slash at the tom before he could stand up. "This is how WindClan treats prey stealers!" He slashed him again, and again, and again, without mercy. His back, his chest, his head, everywhere. Finaly, he steped back, waiting for Appleafang to stand up. It was always more fun when the cat got a chance to try to fight back.

Applefang leapt up angrily. He wasn’t trying to trespass! This to, needed to take it down a notch! He slashed at the tom, growling a bit. The orange warrior could already feel his strength depleting, but he couldn’t leave now! He needed to fight back!

Briarthorn smiled as the RiverClan tom attempted to fight back. "Was that supposed to hurt?" He asked in a condescending tone, sneering at Applefange. He turned his back on the young warrior, then when he started to advance on him, Briarthorn turned around and slid underneath Applefang's belly and raked his claws through the soft skin. After doing this, he scrambled to his feet to face the trespasser.

Applefang’s eyes narrowed angrily. This WindClan tom wouldn’t make a fool out of him! ”Urgh!” he mewed, a mix of frustration and pain. He could feel his strength depleting, his opponent was much stronger. To cause Briarthien some pain, he slipped his claws down the warrior’s belly.

Briarthorn winced inwardly as Applefang's claws scratched his belly. He was not going to show pain, especially not to this fish-faced RiverClanner! He could tell that his opponent's strength was running out. It wouldn't take much more to finish him. Briarthorn smacked the tom's face with his unsheathed claws. He could tell that it had done it. He leaned down to where the Applefang was. "You should stick to fish next time, RiverClanner! Why don't you go back to your own territory?"

Briarthorn used Front-Paw-Strike, dealing 11 damage and costing 10 stamina. Applefang can no longer fight!
