A cloud of happiness

Icecloud yawned, waking from her sleep. She had done her vigilance last night, and gotten all the sleep she needed. She felt quite alone in the warriors den without the other apprentices. She kind of wanted to go take some out on a hunting patrol, but knew they were all probably trying to train to become warriors next. She remembered her moonstone, on how Smudgepaw had told her to remember the good times and not to be sad. She wouldn’t let the past get to her anymore and would push to the great future, where starclan was happy with the clans, Prey was Plentiful, and all her Apprentice friends become warriors. She shockingly wasn’t worried about finding a mate. She didn’t think she was the right cat for having kits.
She wouldn’t like having to be still constantly, she’d want to move around. She stood up and greatly yawned walking out of the warriors den as the warm sunlight stretched across her fur. She enjoyed the warmth and went to the prey pile. She took a squirrel and measly sat down and started to eat. Icecloud was hungry, and was anticipating for the days to come. She wanted to be there for her clan, no matter what. A breeze blew through her fur and she chewed her food.

It was nearing sunhigh when Robinloft padded into camp with the dawn patrol, carrying two squirrels in her jaws. It was hard enough to catch a squirrel, but somehow she had managed to catch two to bring back to camp. Holding her prey high, she walked to the fresh-kill pile and dropped her catches on top. She then picked up a mouse and looked around for somewhere to eat it, as she hadn't yet eaten today. Her gaze landed on Icecloud, who wasn't too far away."Hey, Icecloud, would you mind if i joined you?" She called out to the white she-cat, her voice echoing around the camp.
