| Nettlefire took her place on the Highrock. It was time for yet another apprentice ceremony.
“Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath Highrock for a clan meeting!” the silver-gray deputy called out.
She waited for her clanmates, including the kit in question, to gather, her pale green eyes surveying the cats as they joined the crowd. |

| Mallowkit leaped from out of The Nursery. She was full of excitement as she knew today was the day that she would become an apprentice! She would show Milkkit her full potential, and try to serve ThunderClan the bet she could under apprentice duty, although, it probably didn't serve any type of importance to the other cats in the clan. |

| Nettlefire turned her attention to the enthusiastic kit as she joined the crowd.
"Mallowkit," she addressed the soon-to-be-apprentice "Please step forward,"
The green-eyed deputy waited a moment for the kit to do so.
"Mallowkit," she continued on, "You've reached the age of six moons. It's time you became an apprentice. So from this day forward, until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Mallowpaw. Your mentor will be Streamsong," |
