Nettlefire turned to Robinpaw as her apprentice spoke. She paused, considering the she-cat's question. Nettlefire loved hunting and patrolling-- she could've stayed out here a long, long time and been perfectly content-- but she knew both she and these two apprentices had other things to do.

"We've caught a fairly good amount so far--" she began, "I think if we all catch one or two more things, then it should be fine to head back."

Nettlefire finished her statement with a nod, and, having said that, began searching for one last piece of prey, eventually catching wind of a squirrel. She followed the trail, and watched the small animal carefully before pouncing, not wanting to head back to camp with only one piece of prey. Her patience paid off, and she secured her second catch of the day.

Nettlefire used 3 SP to try and catch a squirrel. Catch was successful!

Daisypaw nodded, and soon saw a small mouse. She stalked the brown rodent, and finally leapt onto it. Although it was small, it could provide a good meal for some one. She leapt onto it, trying to make yet another catch. She caught the mouse and picked it up gingerly.

After Nettlefire gave her response, Robinpaw nodded her head before running off in another direction to look for more prey. She looked across the forest, or at least what she could see of it, as bushes and shrubs had started to begin growing again, and saw a squirrel. She moved swiftly and quietly across the ground before stopping a good few fox-lengths away. She crouched, preparing herself to jump onto her prey. She leaped onto the squirrel as it tried running away. She pinned the small animal to the ground and finished it with a bite to the neck.

Robinpaw successfully caught a squirrel, costing 3 SP
