Hawkstrike is probably one of the oldest cats of the site, only a couple months shy of turning 4 irl years old. He is an experienced warrior that tends to be loyal to a fault once you earned his respect, he cares for his clan and would gladly give his life to defend it…but what no living cat knows, is that he also holds a dark secret…
He is the last living Dark Forest Loyalist from the old DF Vs StarClan plot, and his loyalty towards the wicked cats from the Place of No Stars has barely been touched by the passing of time, a loyalty that caused him to get exiled from ShadowClan many, many moons ago, back when he was still called Owlstrike.
This makes his opinion towards StarClan bitter at best, and with the current plot going down, he is most definitely not going to stay put and keep quiet.
Now, don’t expect him to openly admit where his loyalties lie nor to start some kind of Anti-StarClan revolution. He might have a dangerous silver tongue, and moons of acting his part as a regular SkyClan-born warrior to keep up the façade put up by Crowstar on his favor has made him a flawless and charismatic actor, able to fool even the most experienced of warriors in the forest with ease, but he is also not a fool by any means. He knows he lives in a world ruled by StarClan, populated by their loyal followers, and he isn’t about to risk losing his spot in the clan he loves so dearly just to try and cause what he knows can be a little struggle that will be easily stomped on by the rest of the clans.
His affiliation to the wicked cats of old is a secret he fiercely protects from those around him, and only those that might form very strong bonds with him may be able to start finding clues here and there, or even be told directly if he trusts them enough….but for that A LOT of IC bonding and development must take place.
However, that won’t mean he will hold back his frustrations, even if he will carefully word them.
If you want the seed of doubt to be placed within your cat’s heart, or if your cat is already hesitant and you want to potentially worsen it, maybe a talk with this old Senior Warrior can do the trick. While you will have it easier if they are in SkyClan, this is still wide-open to any cats beyond said territory through some plotting (Can be here, through PM or in Discord, up to you). He might dislike non-SkyClan cats, and he definitely loathes anyone from ShadowClan, but he won’t let this chance slide and might try to be a bit tolerant just to share his opinions with those around him…one way or another.
This plot can and might be expanded upon if enough interest is shown and interesting butterfly-effect interactions happen, but as of rn, I want to keep it simple and see where that takes me.
