Meeting new apprentices (ANY apprentice can join)

Deadpaw twitched his nose when a leaf landed on it. He'd just been apprenticed, and he wanted to meet some new apprentices. He drew his tongue over his right paw, as he'd snagged a thorn in it on the way. He didn't know how to remove it, but he instinctively licked it.

Featherpaw walked around the ckearing, her head clouded with thoughts.

Sunpaw looked on frum a tree branch.

Deadpaw turned his head to see Featherpaw. "Hey Featherpaw," he meowed, padding over to her.

She narrowed her eyes. That used-to-be cat was there.

Deadpaw sniffed the air. Another cat was close by. He glanced warily around the clearing, and spotted Sunpaw crouched in a tree. "I see you," Deadpaw called.

"I don't want you to see me."
She hissed back.

Featherpaw gave Sunpaw a look, that said what it had been saying for the last week or so.
"Hello, Deadpaw."
She said.

She glared at her.
"I especialy never, ever want to see you again!"
She hissed.

Deadpaw shook his head. "What's going on with you two?" he demanded. "You were best friends before!"

"Never. I could never be friends with her!"

Deadpaw let his neck fur rise. "But why? Best friends don't give up on each other that fast!"
he mewed questioningly. "You don't have to be friends now, but I just wanna know why your not now."

"We have NEVER been friends. even MENTION that, i will claw your ears off."

Deadpaw's tail tip twitched. "Okay..." he trailed off. "Then I won't ask any more. I can respect that." He'd decided to let the she-cats solve their problem themselves, if they ever decided to.

"Hmph. Good."
