We meet again (closed)

Giving his slender body a shake, Sunflower sneezed. Great StarClan, he was done with seasonal allergies, and if he could go at least a day without something irritating his nose, he swore he'd rejoice to the heavens above. But alas, such relief wasn't an option for the abnormally large and big eared tom and he could only dream.

Having been on a morning hunting patrol by himself, an unfamiliar scent hit the tom's nose a shiver was sent down his bony spine. Creeping up to the Thunderpath with his abnormally large ears pinned against the back of his head, the warrior scanned the area. "W-who's there?" he called meekly, not knowing that he'd begun to cross the invisible barrier that divided the neighboring clans.

Beartooth had been out on a solo patrol, looking to escape the clan for a short while and be able to breath. Even if he had taken his duties in stride and easily accepted the mantle of deputy, it did not mean he was well equipped for such a role. Cats always sought him out now, not just for a specific task but for direction and advice that he seemed to inept to offer. It overwhelmed him more often than he would ever admit to even himself and would never speak aloud. While he had hoped for something simple and easy, as he neared the border there was a flash of fur that just barely passed over where the two territories met. In an instant, the deputy recognized the coat. Not long ago, he had been on a patrol that had fought with some Skyclanners. This had been one of the ones to threaten the clan, even daring to attack Beartooth himself. Sunflower was lucky to have not escaped with more wounds last time as the bulky tom did not hold back in defending his clan, even if he had finally started to recognize growing insecurities with his destructive nature that were spurred on by Pricklebush.

He did not wait to rush forward and with a mighty leap, using all of his bulk, pressed the long-legged warrior into the ground. One massive front paw pinned down his chest and the other was against his cheek, digging in and drawing pinpricks of blood from the opponent. Beartooth felt the adrenaline course through his veins and growled lowly, "I told you to stay away from Thunderclan. You should not be here."

Beartooth used Leap and Hold on Sunflower. Dealing 14 damage and using 10 stamina. Sunflower is held for 2 turns.

Not having been expecting such an attack, The lengthy warrior let out a yowl of surprise. Where had this tom come from all of the sudden? Looking up to the cat who pressed him against the earth with his weight, Sunflower quickly recognized his opponent as the cat he’d fought some time ago. Just his luck, he just so happened to be in the same area as this brute of a cat. Great StarClan, could he have had worse timing?

“The Thunderpath isn’t your’s!” Sunflower hissed. He tried wriggling free from Beartooth’s grasp, but it was no use, especially with him being a twig of a warrior.

The Thunderpath isn't yours! Beartooth ignored the weak protest and pressed the warrior's face further into the earth. The acrid stench of the monster's path stuck in his nostrils. If Sunflower's intent was passage along the Thunderpath, he would have made sure not to cross the Thunderclan marker that was placed there. A low snarl continued to rumble in his throat. He chose to say nothing else as he continued in his attack. If this cowering warrior hadn't learned to stay away from his clan and family before, then he would learn it today.
