Echokit's Apprentice Ceremony

Swiftstep leaped up onto the Tallrock with a small twinkle in his amber gaze. A lucky she-kit was going to be apprenticed today. They will train to soon become a warrior. One that Windclan would be very proud of. The brown tom's face morphed to a serious expression before he continued with starting the ceremony. In his heart, he was really excited for this young kit. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather underneath the Tallrock for a Clan meeting!" Swiftstep called with an authoritative tone.

Echokit didn't waste any time making her way from the nursery her pale grayish cream tail held high as her mother Blossompetal gently muzzled her daughter letting her move to the front where she would wait to be addressed.  Pride shining in her green eyes as she watched her daughter.  Echokit purred sitting down near the front and looked up to Swiftstep

The brown tom looked down at young Echokit before continuing, "We all gather here today to make one of our kits an apprentice. Echokit, please step forward." Once the she-kit did so, the deputy nodded approvingly and then began to speak again, "Echokit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Echopaw. Icewhisker will be your mentor. He is a skilled warrior despite his rank so I know that he will pass down everything he knows on to you."
