Aspenpaw sprinted across the moor. He had been chasing prey all afternoon, and he was still crowfood at it. He grumbled as it cut a quick turn and disappeared into the brush. Pressing forward, he found himself somewhere he wasn't sure he'd been before. He recalled being told to stay away from a place called "The Gorge." Was this it? This big, long hole in the ground? Either way, he was quite intrigued.

He padded alongside it at a foxlength or two. He wanted to peer inside without falling in. The icy water rushed below him and the updraft tickled his silver fur. He quite liked the way it felt on his skin. The breeze suddenly brought a scent he didn't recognize. It didn't smell like WindClan to him. "Who's out there?"
