Brightpaws Hunting Practice

Dewdrop waited in the camp to see if Brightpaw would come out and ask whats up.

Brightpaw stretched as she walked out of her warm, new den for she had been made a new apprentice the day before. Looking around she noticed the Dewdrop was waiting for her, feeling embarassed for not getting up sooner she rushed over to her mentor waiting for her instructions.

"Morning Brightpaw, how would you like to go practice hunting?" Dewdrop asked.

"Oh yes please, where are we going, what are we hunting," she asked excitedly.
This was going to be her first time out of the camp, and she could not help but purr with excitement.

"We're going to go down to the river, and we will know what to hunt when we get there." Dewdrop said as she headed out of camp.

Birghtpaw followed her mentor out of camp, her paws tingling, she couldn't wait for the chance to catch prey, but she knew she had alot to learn

Dewdrop ran to the river, waiting for Brightpaw to catch up.

Brightpaw's mentor was waiting for her at the river, she loved the new smells as she ran through and the wind in her fur, but she had to concentrate on the task ahead. Catching up to Dewdrop she went to sit beside waiting to start hunting.

"Ok, first watch then I'll let you try." dewdrop said. She crouched down and lunged at a shadow in the water, but the fish got away and she missed. "Mousedung."

broghtpaw watched her mentor closely, looking into the river she could see the fish swimming around. As Brightpaw got ready to take her first swipe she lost her footing and and went face first in the water. Lucky for her she was quick to react and sprang back before falling in all the way. Looking at herself in the water she saw that her fur was sticking out everywhere, and drops of water fell from her wiskers, she looked like she was a porcipine, turning away from the river she the water from her face not making it any better, turning to her menor she meow, "I look like a fool." As she was speaking she tried to lie the fur on her face down.

Dewdrop mrrowed. "It's ok. We all make mistakes. How about you try again?" She suggested.

OOC: OK, when you post aftre trying again, use the chance dice, if you roll 1-2 then you miss 3-6 than you caught it, then you edit your post to say how you got/ missed the fish

IC. Brightpaw walked over to the edge of the river, staring in it she saw the shadow of a fish swimming around, lifting her paw ready to make the strike. When she went for the attack the sun came out from behind the clouds casting a shadow on the water, scaring the and making it swim away.
"I would of had that if the sun didn't come out, I should of known better," she hissed in frustration.

OOC. Isn't it 1-3 miss and a 4-6 kill for a new apprentice to catch fish, just saying
