| Anger and sadness were the first emotions that coursed through his body when he was notified that his apprentice and niece, Ravenpaw, had been permanently blinded by an apprentice named Pantherpaw. Crowfur told the she-cat to never give up hope to becoming a warrior. He would guide her little by little. A few days after the incident, the warrior had taken her all around the camp, so she may memorize the place by feeling and scents. He never left her side, making sure she didn't get hurt. Once she had the camp memorized, the tom decided to help her map out the territory. That's what they were doing today.
Crowfur was sitting by the camp entrance, waiting for his apprentice to make an appearance. He had called for her a few moments ago so she should be heading his way. They were going to slowly tour the marshes, make sure Ravenpaw knows her way around the territory by heart. He wants her to be one of the most skilled apprentices despite her disability. ______________________________________ ◐ Rushingpaw ║ ♀ ║ Apprentice - RiverClan ║ [App Stats] 20 HP / 60 SP ║ #C0D6E4 ◑ |

| Ravenpaw padded toward Crowfur's voice, near the entrance to camp. Would she get to explore the territory? She had traveled through it once before, but preferred not to think about it. She walked slowly, as she wan't quite confident enough yet to run, and, even if she did, the scars on her back were still fresh, and the quick movements of her shoulders could reopen them. She came to a stop as she felt her whiskers lightly brush her mentor's fur. "You called, Crowfur? What are we doing today?" ______________________________________ ~ ShadowClan Deputy ~Remind Me To Post!Ravenmist | Blind | She-cat | T2 ShadowClan Deputy (Disabled) | 95/250 | 0000ff Crowspirit | Tom | WindClan Tier 2 Warrior | 45/160 | 003300 Ospreypaw | She-cat | ThunderClan Apprentice | 20/80 | cc9900 |

| The warrior got up and bumped his shoulder to her's. "We're going to take a stroll around the territory so you can memorize it. You'll need the knowledge for when you have to hunt on your own as a warrior. Let's get going!" Afterwards, the dark tom began to carefully lead the apprentice into the territory. As they walked, Crowfur began to speak up, "Ravenpaw, do you know what prey live in Shadowclan?" He wanted to know if she had some knowledge of what she could catch in Shadowclan. Each type of prey had a different way of being caught. He was going to teach it all to her if she didn't know. ______________________________________ ◐ Rushingpaw ║ ♀ ║ Apprentice - RiverClan ║ [App Stats] 20 HP / 60 SP ║ #C0D6E4 ◑ |

| "Well, I know there are lizards and frogs, and the occasional mouse or squirrel..." She fell silent for a moment, rebalancing herself after hitting her paw on a rock. She had found that since losing her sight, her other senses were more sensitive. Not much more sensitive, but noticeably. "Lizards are good to catch in the morning, when they are cold and slow, right? I don't know much about the others."
OOC: Also did you know that cats also have whiskers on their eyebrows and on their ankles? The ankle whiskers sense whether the cat's paw is about to hit the ground or plummet off a bank. No wonder they hardly ever misstep, even when focused on something else! ______________________________________ ~ ShadowClan Deputy ~Remind Me To Post!Ravenmist | Blind | She-cat | T2 ShadowClan Deputy (Disabled) | 95/250 | 0000ff Crowspirit | Tom | WindClan Tier 2 Warrior | 45/160 | 003300 Ospreypaw | She-cat | ThunderClan Apprentice | 20/80 | cc9900 |

| OOC: I did know about the eyebrow whiskers but I didn't know about the ankle ones! That is so interesting! :D The more you know! IC: Crowfur softly nudged the she-cat. " That's very good Ravenpaw! You are a very intelligent apprentice. Not many apprentices care for knowledge but it's just as important as physical strength. You know more than most others at this stage and I've trained quite a few." The tom felt that she needed the praise. She was quite the smarty. " Frogs and toads are more likely to stay near the deeper sections of the marshes. They do hang around here though. When trying to catch one, make sure you don't splash too much and that it's not facing any deep waters. They could just jump in and disappear into the murky water. You must be facing its side when stalking one." The warrior licked his chest fur before continuing, " Birds, squirrels, hares, and rabbits are very rare and if you do find one, they are very hard to catch. Birds and squirrels will normally hang out on a tree branch and us Shadowclanners are not he best climbers. If a bird does land on the ground, we have to be as quiet as possible or it'll fly away and we aren't great jumpers. Rabbits are quick and timid creatures. We cannot outrun them. I have caught one once. I had to be hidden and silent and I managed to pounce on it before it got a chance to run away. Hares are the rarest prey. I have never seen one nor seen anyone catch one. I assume they're similar to rabbits. We all know there are no fish in Shadowclan. There is a theme here. To catch prey not from this clan and some native to here, we use the shadows, silence, and our dark pelts." Crowfur and Ravenpaw were now near the Thunderpath border. He decided to put his apprentice's nose to the test. " Ravenpaw, what do you smell?" ______________________________________ ◐ Rushingpaw ║ ♀ ║ Apprentice - RiverClan ║ [App Stats] 20 HP / 60 SP ║ #C0D6E4 ◑ |

| Ravenpaw stopped, sniffing the air, then wrinkled her nose. "It smells almost like rotten fresh-kill, but even nastier. And there's no scent of possible food." She took a few steps forward but shrank back when her paw hit something hard, rough, and warm. She remembered hearing about something like this as a kit, but didn't remember it's name. All she remembered was that it was dangerous, even for adult cats. | "This is the Thunderpath border. We share this with Windclan and Thunderclan. The Thunderpath is extreamly dangerous and you must never set foot here without a warrior. No apprentice is allowed to cross any border but this one in particular is the cause of many, many deaths. Monsters run across here and strike anything in their paths. They slow for nobody. They have shiny bodies and stink heavily which is why the Thunderpath smells." Crowfur flipped his head when he began to hear a faint vrooming noise heading thier way. "Ravenpaw! Place your paw on the Thunderpath. Do you feel the ground shake? A monster is going to cross here soon!" The warrior saw the green body of a rather large monster zoom past the duo eventually leaving nothing but it's signature awful scent. "Wasn't that exciting? Did you feel a fast rush of wind go by you?" Crowfur enjoyed seeing the huge beasts go across at a speed not even a Windclan cat could reach. ______________________________________ ◐ Rushingpaw ║ ♀ ║ Apprentice - RiverClan ║ [App Stats] 20 HP / 60 SP ║ #C0D6E4 ◑ |

| Ravenpaw stood, paw still on the edge, in shock. She had never experienced wind so powerful, or a shaking so great. It was terrifying, yet exhilarating at the same time. "That felt almost like a thousand WindClan cats running past me! Was it a lot of monsters? It would have to be big if it was just one." Her nose remained wrinkled due to the stench, completely unable to detect other smells. ______________________________________ ~ ShadowClan Deputy ~Remind Me To Post!Ravenmist | Blind | She-cat | T2 ShadowClan Deputy (Disabled) | 95/250 | 0000ff Crowspirit | Tom | WindClan Tier 2 Warrior | 45/160 | 003300 Ospreypaw | She-cat | ThunderClan Apprentice | 20/80 | cc9900 |

| OOC: Sorry for the delay ;-;
IC: Crowfur let out a hearty laugh. "It was one giant monster. It's pelt was as green and shiny." The warrior got up and shook his pelt. He had sat down when the monster rushed past. "Did you know that there is a chance a monster can leave the Thunderpath? We are not certain why they can or want do that but it happens." The dark-furred tom licked his chest before continuing to speak, "Alright, as a small test, what clans do we share the Thunderpath border with?" ______________________________________ ◐ Rushingpaw ║ ♀ ║ Apprentice - RiverClan ║ [App Stats] 20 HP / 60 SP ║ #C0D6E4 ◑ |
