so for the ending of shade's plot there'll be this big battle...
I wrote how I imagined it would go down in jaystar's perspective.
here it is.
When Goldeneye disappeared, I hoped she’d return. And she did. With my kits, who live happily in the Clan. And then when Cinderfall disappeared… I had much less hope. Twolegs are hard to escape from. Time went by… I grew less hopeful by the day. The clan assumed him dead or reduced to kittypet. That made Littlestream and Stormstrike the only ones left. My kits… I couldn’t believe only two survived.

Then Shade came.

He had my son. My son, who I thought dead, was under the paws of a filthy rogue. And Cinderfall was about to die. “Surrender,” Shade told me, “Or you never see your son again. It’s time for Shadestar to rise.” I almost wanted to do it. Anything, for my child. “Dad!” Cinderfall snapped me out of it. “Don’t do it! I can- grunt- Handle it! Just don’t let- mrgmphl-” The rogue had one paw on my son’s back, holding him down, the other with claws unsheathed, pressing into the tom’s throat. “Don’t- surrender-” He had managed to cough out. I could feel the tears coming to my eyes. I looked back at Shade, who seemed victorious.

“NEVER!” I snarled, taking a leap. He sidestepped, sending me thumping to the ground. It was a glorious, ferocious battle. We each tore viciously at each other, blood pumping. Suddenly, I was on the ground, a new pain in my neck. I held up a paw to it. Oh no… I tried to breathe, finding no air and spots dancing in my vision. I coughed blood. I was dying. No, I couldn’t lose. They’d kill him. “Cinderfall…” I gurgled with my last breath. His name. My son. Who lived, and if Shade stayed true to his word, would stay alive.

Starclan was beautiful. I rose up to see my lost mate, Cinderpaw. “Cinderpaw.” I could speak clearly now, though I choked it out through the sadness. “How long until I come back? How could I lose?” I begged. She only watched me sympathetically. “I wish I could help, my love. We’ve done all we can. Now, Shade’s fate is in your paws. It’s all up to you.” She touched her forehead to mine and suddenly, I was back.

My eyes went to Fallowpaw first. She was fine. Good. Shade was still at my back, ready to attack me again and take another life. I looked next at Cinderfall. He seemed heartbroken, horrified, and about to go unconscious due to the same reason I died. He met my eyes and his face softened with his eyes wide. I gave the smallest smile before a blur of fur launched at Shade, which the tom didn’t expect. Silverfang! She slashed her claws across his throat. Finally, Riverclan had won, and the Clans were rid of that monster. I stood, nodding to Silverfang. “Thank you.”

“No!” Screeched the rogue. I turned to him and stared coldly. “You and all rogues will leave Riverclan, immediately, and never return, lest you have the same fate as him.” I kicked the body towards the rogue. She hissed and pulled her claws along Cinderfall’s neck, before taking Shade’s neck and running. “Fallowpaw, help him!” I yelled, running to my son’s side. No, I couldn’t lose him now. Not after all this.

Fallowpaw’s eyes were narrowed in concentration and a few devastatingly long minutes later, Cinderfall was breathing steadily. He had nearly blacked out once, but we kept him alive. I licked his cheek. “I’m so glad you’re okay…” I murmured. He looked back up at me. “You… you died. You lost your first life.” I nodded. “I did, and I saved many more in doing so. Let’s get you home.” This was a very, very happy day.
