Everything went by in such a flurry of confusion and aggression that Flurryshine had to take a few heartbeats just to register what had happened. She stared up at the owl as it tried and failed to carry Darkpaw off, and relief flooded through her when she saw the tom's head break through the surface of the water where he fell in the river.

She watched as the owl swooped down to try grabbing him again, but she acted fast. Regardless if Darkpaw would appreciate her contribution to the battle or not, she was not going to let anything happen to this apprentice again. She pounced at the owl and collided into it midair, then crashed into the water with it. Expertly holding her breath, she tightened her claws and jaws around the bird of prey as it thrashed, holding it and herself underwater to try and weaken it.

Flurryshine used Underwater Clinch on Owl, dealing 9 damage and costing 10 stamina.

Owl is Stunned for one turn.
