Frostkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Swiftstep jumped up onto the Tallrock with a prideful gaze. Windclan was growing and growing  bigger with every kit becoming an apprentice. Today, one of the young kits would be leaving the nursery behind to start a new chapter in their young life. The brown tom regained his composure and returned to looking serious. Deep inside, however, he still couldn't stop feeling joyous. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather underneath the Tallrock for a Clan meeting!" Swiftstep called with an authoritative tone.

Frostkit looked up. Another meeting? She was quite bored though, so she sat down near the front and perked her ears.

The brown tom looked down at the kit with a warm gaze before continuing, "We all gather here today to make one of our kits an apprentice. Frostkit, please step forward." Once the she-kit did, the deputy nodded approvingly with a small smile and then began to speak again, "Frostkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Frostpaw. Hickorysmoke will be your mentor. I trust that he will pass down everything he knows on to you."
