Hunting strike party (Closed)

Sedgestrike stalked into the middle of camp. His normally sleek and silver pelt was slightly ruffled as his green eyes glared around for cats to take on a patrol. He spotted Falconpaw by the entrance of the apprentice's den. The dark brown tom was cleaning his paw when Sedgestrike stormed over, then looked at Beepaw and Wasppaw nearby with a disdainful sniff.
"Get up. You're all coming hunting." He ordered, then turned and padded out of camp.


Falconpaw looked up as a flash of silver caught his eye. He groaned under his breath as Sedgestrike stalked over towards him with a final lick to his paw. He'd heard Sedgestrike and seen his arrogance enough times. He had the impression they all had, but he was a strong warrior. He was powerful and had the strength to match his boasting. If anything he lacked in tact as he gave a nod and stretched with a sigh before following him out of camp.

Beepaw was casting curious glances at a large, black beetle, scurrying lazily near her paws. She prodded at it, watched it roll on its back before jerking back to its normal position and carrying on. What a champ. She jolted up as Sedgestrike stalked nearby, ushering her and her brother to join him. Irritated, she muttered something for herself before bouncing to join him at Falconpaw at the camp's exit, looking as innocent as ever.

The sleek brown tom looked at Sedgestrike, then looked back at Beepaw as they were led to a small clearing. Sedgestrike stormed off ahead, but Falconpaw wasn't too content to follow the grumpy spotted warrior. He turned his gaze at the surrounding foliage before he caught the sound of a nut cracking nearby. His head immediately turned towards it, and he crouched carefully to make a slow and steady stalk towards the source of the noise. To where a bird was fluttering and breaking open seeds with it's beak.

Falconpaw shifted his weight before the lunge. His paws landed squarely on the bird's back, breaking it before it could fly away and he silenced it equally as fast. He lifted his sizable catch proudly. The black and white feathers of the magpie gleaming as he looked for a place to stash it while Beepaw hunted.
